Virtuaalitodellisuutta opetukseen k\u00e4ytt\u00e4v\u00e4n koulutuksen laadullinen parantaminen on siksi t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 ja sen avulla virtuaalitodellisuuden hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4mist\u00e4 voidaan laajentaa opetuksessa. On t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4\u00e4 virtuaalitodellisuuden haasteita, rajoitteita ja mahdollisuuksia virtuaalisten oppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6jen suunnittelussa ja toteutuksessa. Tulokset alan tutkimuksissa tukevat virtuaalitodellisuuden toimivan opetuksen ty\u00f6v\u00e4lineen\u00e4 muiden opetusmenetelmien avustamana. Virtuaalitodellisuuden on todettu parantavan aktiivioppimista hy\u00f6dynnett\u00e4ess\u00e4 oppilaan motivaatiota immersion, osallistumisen ja tunteiden kautta. Lis\u00e4ksi oppija saa paremman kontrollin oppimiseensa ja pystyy parempaan reflektioon. Multimediaoppimisen alueella oppilaalle voidaan tarjota monimuotoisesti korostettuja esimerkkej\u00e4, joiden kautta oppija muodostaa mentaalisia linkkej\u00e4 omaamiensa tietojen v\u00e4lille. Lis\u00e4ksi virtuaalitodellisuuden on todettu olevan halvempi ja turvallisempi vaihtoehto monien alojen koulutuksessa, kuten l\u00e4\u00e4ketieteess\u00e4 ja insin\u00f6\u00f6riopinnoissa. T\u00e4m\u00e4n kirjallisuuskatsauksen tarkoitus on tarkastella t\u00e4m\u00e4n hetkist\u00e4 virtuaalitodellisuutta m\u00e4\u00e4ritellen sen konseptit, virtuaalitodellisuuden avulla opettamista, m\u00e4\u00e4ritell\u00e4 oppimisen konseptin sek\u00e4 keskeiset oppimismenetelm\u00e4t, joihin VR vaikuttaa eniten. Kirjallisuuskatsauksessa hy\u00f6dynnet\u00e4\u00e4n olemassa olevaa tutkimusta, jonka pohjalta virtuaalitodellisuuden hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4mist\u00e4 tarkastellaan aktiivi- ja multi-mediaoppimisen n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta sek\u00e4 esitet\u00e4\u00e4n kuinka tutkimusta voi hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 VR-oppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6jen suunnittelussa.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "Use of virtual reality (VR) in education allows for immersive and interactive learning experiences which might not otherwise be possible due resource or facility restrictions. Hence, improving the quality of virtual reality education is important and through better quality the VR can be utilized in a larger scale in education. It is important for the developers and teachers to understand the challenges, limitations, and opportunities VR can provide while designing or developing virtual reality learning environments. Results of the studies show that virtual reality is a viable teaching tool when combined with other teaching methods. Studies show that while using active learning methods the virtual reality improves student motivation through immersion, emotions, and engagement. Furthermore, the learner acquires better control over his learning process and becomes capable to better reflect the knowledge gained. Using multi-media learning with VR offers the learner more varied examples and types of media to form links with the knowledge the learner already possesses. Virtual reality is also cheaper and safer teaching method on many fields like medicine and engineering.\nThis literary review will go through the current state of VR while defining basic concepts, defining learning and study methods affected most by VR, and utilization of VR in teaching.
