Ty\u00f6paikan sosiaalista ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00e4 mittasimme sek\u00e4 \nkilpailullisen, ett\u00e4 osaamispainotteisen motivaatioilmaston avulla. Motivaatioilmaston lis\u00e4ksi \ntutkimme, onko ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n johtajastatuksella ja koetulla organisaation tuella muuntavaa vaikutusta \nmotivaatioilmaston ja ty\u00f6riippuvuuden v\u00e4liseen yhteyteen. Tutkimus toteutettiin m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisen\u00e4 \npoikkileikkaustutkimuksena osana kansainv\u00e4list\u00e4 ty\u00f6riippuvuustutkimusta. Aineisto koostui \nsuomalaisista ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6ist\u00e4, jotka ty\u00f6skenteliv\u00e4t yli 10 hengen organisaatioissa. Vastaukset ker\u00e4ttiin \ns\u00e4hk\u00f6isell\u00e4 kyselylomakkeella vuoden 2023 kev\u00e4\u00e4n ja kes\u00e4n aikana. \nHierarkkinen regressioanalyysi osoitti, ett\u00e4 ty\u00f6paikan motivaatioilmastolla on yhteys \nty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden ty\u00f6riippuvuuteen. Kilpailullinen motivaatioilmasto oli positiivisessa yhteydess\u00e4 \nty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden ty\u00f6riippuvuuteen. Osaamispainotteinen motivaatioilmasto sen sijaan oli negatiivisessa \nyhteydess\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden ty\u00f6riippuvuuteen. Lis\u00e4ksi havaitsimme, ett\u00e4 johtajastatus oli positiivisessa \nyhteydess\u00e4 ty\u00f6riippuvuuteen. Johtajastatuksella tai organisaation tuella ei kuitenkaan ollut muuntavaa \nvaikutusta motivaatioilmaston ja ty\u00f6riippuvuuden yhteyteen. \nTutkimuksen tulokset osoittavat, ett\u00e4 ty\u00f6riippuvuus on yhteydess\u00e4 yksil\u00f6llisten muuttujien \nlis\u00e4ksi my\u00f6s ty\u00f6paikan ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6llisiin ja sosiaalisiin tekij\u00f6ihin. Ty\u00f6riippuvaista k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymist\u00e4 \nilmenee enemm\u00e4n organisaatioissa, joissa ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden suoriutumista mitataan suhteessa toisiinsa. \nToisaalta, jos yksil\u00f6 kokee organisaation arvostavan t\u00e4m\u00e4n ty\u00f6panosta ja hyvinvointia, ilmenee \norganisaatiossa my\u00f6s v\u00e4hemm\u00e4n ty\u00f6riippuvuutta. Lis\u00e4ksi havainto johtajien korkeammasta \nty\u00f6riippuvuudesta on itsess\u00e4\u00e4n merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4, sill\u00e4 aiemman tutkimuksen perusteella johtajien \nty\u00f6riippuvainen k\u00e4yt\u00f6s voi heijastua my\u00f6s muihin ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6ihin.
