Jotta tekoälyä voidaan implementoida henkilöstöalan prosesseihin oikeudenmukaisesti ja turvallisesti, täytyy tekoälyn vaikutusta prosesseihin tutkia kriittisesti. Tässä tutkielmassa tarkasteltiin eettisiä haasteita, joita tekoälyn hyödyntämisestä rekrytoinnissa voi seurata. Tutkielma toteutettiin kirjallisuuskatsauksena, ja tutkielman lähdeaineisto kerättiin tietokannoista avainsanoja käyttäen. Tässä tutkielmassa yhdistettiin muiden tutkijoiden havaintoja löydetyistä eettisistä haasteista ja täten luotiin yhtenäinen analyysi eettisistä haasteista, joita tekoälyn käyttö rekrytoinnissa voi tuoda esiin. Tulokset osoittivat, että suuria tunnistettuja eettisiä haasteita ovat yksityisyyshuolet, tekoälyn selitettävyys, syrjinnän mahdollisuus ja empatian puute. Tulokset osoittivat, että rekrytointitekoälyn tarkastelussa ja kehittämisessä on monia haasteita, jotka täytyy huomioida ongelmatilanteiden välttämiseksi. Tekoälyn kriittinen monitorointi on myös tarpeellista. The use of artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming common in human resources processes, including recruitment. Companies want to invest more in the recruit ment process, because the importance of high-quality personnel has grown sig nificantly in companies over the years. With the help of artificial intelligence, the process can be made more efficient regarding resources such as time and money. In order to be implemented in HR processes fairly and safely, the effect of artifi cial intelligence on processes must be critically examined. This thesis examined the ethical challenges that the use of artificial intelligence in recruitment can fol low. The study was carried out as a literature review, and the study's source ma terial was collected from databases using keywords. In this thesis, the observa tions of other researchers were combined, thus creating a comprehensive analysis of the ethical problems that the use of artificial intelligence in recruitment can bring forth. Results indicated that the major ethical challenges identified are pri vacy concerns, explainability of artificial intelligence, possibility of discrimina tion and lack of empathy. The results showed that there are many ethically chal lenging circumstances, which must be considered in the development and review of recruitment artificial intelligence in order to avoid problematic situations. Crit ical monitoring of artificial intelligence is also necessary.
