Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 organisaatiokulttuu-rin, ty\u00f6n ja yksityisel\u00e4m\u00e4n tasapainon, organisaation tiedotus- ja suhdetoi-minnan sek\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden sitoutumisen v\u00e4lisi\u00e4 suhteita ja niiden vaikutusta ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6kseen palata vanhempainvapaan j\u00e4lkeiseen ty\u00f6h\u00f6n ja perhesuunnitteluun. Tutkimus toteutettiin kvantitatiivisena tutkimuksena. Vastaukset ker\u00e4ttiin Facebook ryhmiss\u00e4 jaetun, validoituja mittareita hy\u00f6-dynt\u00e4v\u00e4n, online-kyselyn avulla. Valideja vastauksia kertyi 422 ja ne analy-soitiin SPSS- ja PLS-SEM -menetelmill\u00e4. Analyysi sis\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4 hypoteesien testaa-misen muuttujien v\u00e4lisen suhteen arvioimiseksi sek\u00e4 suorien vaikutusten analysoinnin organisaatiotekij\u00f6iden suoran vaikutuksen selvitt\u00e4miseksi ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksiin liittyen sek\u00e4 mittausmallin arvioinnin luotetta-vuuden varmistamiseksi. Keskeiset tulokset osoittavat merkitt\u00e4vi\u00e4 suhteita organisaatiokulttuurin, ty\u00f6n ja yksityisel\u00e4m\u00e4n tasapainon sek\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6i-den sitoutumisen v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Erityisesti organisaatiokulttuurilla ja ty\u00f6- ja yksi-tyisel\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4 tukevilla k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ill\u00e4 on positiivinen vaikutus ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden sitoutumiseen, mik\u00e4 puolestaan vaikuttaa p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6kseen palata vanhempainva-paan j\u00e4lkeiseen ty\u00f6h\u00f6n. Tutkimuksen tulokset paljastivat joitakin ep\u00e4joh-donmukaisuuksia. Organisaatiotekij\u00f6iden ja perhesuunnittelup\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6sten v\u00e4lil-l\u00e4 ei havaittu merkitt\u00e4vi\u00e4 suhteita, lukuun ottamatta kiistanalaista suhdetta organisaatiokulttuurin ja perhesuunnittelun v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi, vaikka organi-saation tiedotus- ja suhdetoiminnan kertoimet ja t-arvot viittaavat tilastolli-sesti merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4n suhteeseen ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden sitoutumisen ja paluup\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksen v\u00e4lill\u00e4, t\u00e4t\u00e4 suhdetta ei tuettu hypoteesitestauksen ja suorien vaikutusten ana-lyysin perusteella. Tutkimus korostaa organisaatiotekij\u00f6iden t\u00e4rkeytt\u00e4 ty\u00f6n-tekij\u00f6iden sitoutumisen muovaajina ja p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksess\u00e4 palata t\u00f6ihin vanhem-painvapaan j\u00e4lkeen. The research aims to examine the relationships between organizational culture, work-life balance (WLB) initiatives, organizational-public relationships (OPR), and employee engagement, as well as their impact on employees' decisions regarding returning to their pre-parental leave job and family planning. The study employs a quantitative research approach. Valid responses from 422 participants were analysed using a combination of SPSS and PLS-SEM. These responses were gathered through an online survey distributed via Facebook groups, leveraging validated scales to measure various constructs. The analysis includes hypothesis testing to assess the significance of relationships between variables, direct effects analysis to determine the direct impact of organizational factors on employee outcomes, and evaluation of the measurement model to ensure validity and reliability. Key findings indicate significant relationships between organizational culture, work-life balance, and employee engagement. Specifically, organizational culture and work-life balance initiatives positively influence employee engagement, which, in turn, impacts employees' decisions to return to their pre-parental leave job. The results of the study revealed some inconsistencies. No significant relationships were found between organizational factors and family planning decisions, except for a debatable relationship between organizational culture and family planning. Further, even as coefficient and t-value of OPR indicate statistically significant relationship with employee engagement and decision on returning to pre-parental leave job, this relationship was not supported in further analysis. The study underscores the importance of organizational factors in shaping employee engagement and decisions related to returning to work after parental leave.
