Erityisesti monet verkkokaupat ovat ottaneet \nasiakaspalvelussa k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n chatbotin, joka mahdollistaa kustannustehokkaan \nasiakaspalvelun tuottamisen ymp\u00e4ri vuorokauden. Nopean kehityksen takia \nchatbotit voidaan kuitenkin n\u00e4hd\u00e4 viel\u00e4 melko uutena teknologiana, jonka my\u00f6t\u00e4 \nkuluttajat saattavat suhtautua niihin ep\u00e4ilev\u00e4isesti. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tarkoitus \non selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 kirjallisuuskatsauksen muodossa mitk\u00e4 tekij\u00e4t vaikuttavat s\u00e4hk\u00f6isess\u00e4 kaupank\u00e4ynniss\u00e4 kuluttajien suhtautumiseen chatbotteja kohtaan ja miten \nn\u00e4m\u00e4 tekij\u00e4t vaikuttavat. Tarkasteltavista tekij\u00f6ist\u00e4 merkitt\u00e4vimp\u00e4n\u00e4 on ihmisenkaltaisuus, jonka elementtej\u00e4 hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 chatbot voi kommunikoida ja \nesiinty\u00e4 hyvin ihmisenkaltaisesti. T\u00e4m\u00e4 mahdollistaa luottamuksen rakentamisen kuluttajan ja chatbotin v\u00e4lille, joka vaikuttaa positiivisesti kuluttajan suhtautumiseen. Toisaalta on my\u00f6s huomioitava, ett\u00e4 liiallinen ihmisenkaltaistaminen \ntai sen elementtien k\u00e4ytt\u00e4minen tietyiss\u00e4 tilanteissa voi aiheuttaa negatiivista \nsuhtautumista. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkielmassa tarkastellaan teknologian, kuluttajan tunteiden, i\u00e4n, sukupuolen ja k\u00e4ytt\u00f6kokemuksen vaikutusta. Especially, many webstores have \ntaken chatbots into use for customer service purposes offering cost-effective and \nround the clock service. However, due the rapid development of chatbots means \nthat they can be seen as a relatively new technology which can lead consumers \nto be skeptical about them. The purpose of this thesis is to conduct a literature \nreview to find out what factors affect consumers\u2019 attitude and how those affect \nattitudes towards chatbots in e-commerce. The most significant factor affecting \nconsumers\u2019 attitude is anthropomorphism and its elements that allow chatbots \nto communicate and appear in a very human-like way. Human-like elements in \nchatbot can build up trust between the consumer and chatbots which leads to \npositive attitudes towards the chatbot. On the other hand too human-like chatbot \nor using certain human-like elements in certain situations can lead to negative \nattitudes. The thesis also views effects of technology, consumer\u2019s emotions, age, \ngender and earlier user experience. These factors have elements and different \ncombinations of them that can lead to negative attitudes.
