Viimeist\u00e4\u00e4n peruskoulun j\u00e4lkeen laulujen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 kuitenkin v\u00e4henee huomattavasti muiden aineiden kuin kielten opetuksessa. Lukuisat musiikkiterapian tutkimukset ovat osoittaneet, ett\u00e4 musiikilla on annettavaa l\u00e4pi el\u00e4m\u00e4n. Musiikin kuuntelun positiivisia vaikutuksia on havaittu aikuisilla mm. aivohalvauksen j\u00e4lkeisess\u00e4 kognitiivisessa kuntoutumisessa ja negatiivisen mielialan ehk\u00e4isemisess\u00e4. Ik\u00e4ihmisten muistitutkimukset ovat puolestaan osoittaneet laulujen suuren merkityksen kognitiivisille toiminnoille. Miksi opetuslauluja ei siis hy\u00f6dynnet\u00e4 aikuiskoulutuksessa?\nT\u00e4m\u00e4 lauluihin keskittyv\u00e4 integratiivinen kirjallisuuskatsaus pyrkii tarkastelemaan, mit\u00e4 hy\u00f6ty\u00e4 musiikillisesta oppimateriaalista voi olla yli 16-vuotiaille ja miten opetuslauluja voi hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 muualla kuin taideaineiden ja kielten opetuksen kontekstissa. Ty\u00f6n tavoitteena on my\u00f6s tarjota tietoa musiikin psyykkisist\u00e4, neurologisista, fysiologisista ja sosiaalisista vaikutuksista sek\u00e4 sit\u00e4 kautta antaa n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmia laulujen monipuoliseen hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4miseen. Vaikka opetuslaulujen k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4 muualla kuin kielten opiskelun parissa aikuisilla ei ole paljon tutkimusta, l\u00f6ydetyiss\u00e4 tuloksissa korostuu mahdollisuudet hy\u00f6dyn- t\u00e4\u00e4 lauluja monipuolisesti eri aloilla.\nAikuiskoulutus on monimuotoista ja tuo mukanaan useita pedagogisia haasteita, jotka poikkeavat lasten ja nuorten koulutuksesta. Musiikillisen oppimateriaalin k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 voi tarjota uudenlaisia, monipuolisia oppimiskokemuksia n\u00e4ihin haasteisiin vastaamiseksi. Lis\u00e4ksi monialainen yhteisty\u00f6 musiikillisen materiaalin kehitt\u00e4misess\u00e4 voi synnytt\u00e4\u00e4 rikkaampia ja kattavampia oppimisresursseja. However, the use of songs in education significantly diminishes after basic education, especially in subjects other than languages. Numerous music therapy studies have demonstrated that music has something to offer throughout life. The positive effects of music listening have been observed in adults, for example, in cognitive rehabilitation after a stroke and in preventing negative mood states. Studies in the elderly have highlighted the significant impact of songs on cognitive functions. So why are educational songs not utilized in adult education?\n\nThis integrative literature review focused on songs aims to examine the benefits of musical learning materials for individuals over 16 years old and how educational songs can be utilized in contexts other than the teaching of arts and languages. The goal of this work is also to provide information on the psychological, neurological, physiological, and social effects of music, thereby offering perspectives for the versatile use of songs. Although there is not much research on the use of songs in adult education outside of language learning, the findings emphasize the potential to utilize songs diversely across different fields.\n\nAdult education is multifaceted and brings several pedagogical challenges that differ from the education of children and adolescents. The use of musical learning materials can offer new, diverse learning experiences to meet these challenges. Additionally, interdisciplinary collaboration in developing musical materials can generate richer and more comprehensive learning resources.
