Tutkimuskysymykset olivat: 1) millaisia positiivisen pedagogiikan ty\u00f6tapoja oli k\u00e4ytetty esiopetuksessa ja 2) mit\u00e4 vaikutuksia positiivisella pedagogiikalla n\u00e4htiin ja lis\u00e4ksi 3) selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, miten positiivinen pedagogiikka ymm\u00e4rrettiin. \n\nT\u00e4m\u00e4 hermeneuttis- fenomenologinen tutkimus liittyy positiivisen psykologian kontekstiin, jossa viitekehyksen muodostaa valtakunnalliset s\u00e4\u00e4d\u00f6kset esiopetuksesta ja ilmi\u00f6n\u00e4 on positiivinen pedagogiikka. Tutkimusaineisto koostuu seitsem\u00e4n varhaiskasvatuksen opettajan teemahaastatteluista ja se analysoitiin sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysimenetelm\u00e4ll\u00e4 PERMA- teorian viitekehyksess\u00e4, jonka alkukirjaimet kuvastavat hyvinvoinnin osa-alueita.\n\nPositiivisen pedagogiikan ty\u00f6tavat ilmeniv\u00e4t hyvinvoinnin osa-alueissa tasaisesti: P = tunnekasvatuksena ja sensitiivisen\u00e4 lapsen kohtaamisena; E = yhteis\u00f6llisin\u00e4 ja toimijuutta edist\u00e4vin\u00e4 toimintatapoina; R = vahvuuksia korostavana vuorovaikutteisuutena; M = merkityksellisyyten\u00e4 vahvuuksien ja lapsen n\u00e4k\u00f6kulman kirjaamisena LEOPSiin sek\u00e4 A = pedagogisena dokumentointina ja my\u00f6nteisen\u00e4 palautteena. Positiivinen pedagogiikka on kolmiportaisen tuen mukaista, lasta toimijuuteen ohjaavaa ja inklusiivista. The research questions were: 1) what kind of working methods of positive pedagogy had been used in pre-school education and 2) what effects were seen with positive pedagogy and in addition 3) to find out how positive pedagogy was understood.\n\nThis hermeneutic-phenomenological study is related to the context of positive psychology, where the reference framework is formed by national regulations on pre-school education and the phenomenon is positive pedagogy. The research material consists of theme interviews of seven early childhood education teachers and it was analyzed using the content analysis method in the framework of the PERMA theory, whose initial letters reflect the aspects of well-being.\n\nThe working methods of positive pedagogy were uniformly manifested in the areas of well-being: P = as emotional education and sensitive encounter with the child; E = as communal and agency-promoting methods of operation; R = strengths as an accentual interaction; M = as relevance as recording strengths and the child's perspective in LEOPS, and A = as pedagogical documentation and positive feedback. Positive pedagogy is in accordance with the three-level support, guides the child to be active and is inclusive. Art education was added to its way of working, which promoted flourishing and community spirit.
