Nuorten kouluhyvinvointi muodostuu monista eri tekij\u00f6ist\u00e4, mutta oppimisvaikeuksien tiedet\u00e4\u00e4n olevan yhteydess\u00e4 yksin\u00e4isyyteen, alhaiseen itsetuntoon sek\u00e4 koulun keskeytt\u00e4miseen. T\u00e4m\u00e4n pro gradu -tutkielman tarkoituksena oli tutkia nuorten, joilla on erityinen tuki, m\u00e4\u00e4ritelmi\u00e4 kouluhyvinvoinnista sek\u00e4 sit\u00e4 edist\u00e4vist\u00e4 ett\u00e4 est\u00e4vist\u00e4 tekij\u00f6ist\u00e4.\nTutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena ja l\u00e4hestymistapa oli narratiivinen. Tutkimuksessa k\u00e4ytetty aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin teemahaastatteluna kahdeksalta 13\u201316-vuotiaita nuorelta, jotka saivat koulussa erityist\u00e4 tukea. Haastatteluhetkell\u00e4 nuoret olivat vuosiluokilla 6.\u20139. Aineisto analysoitiin laadullisella sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysill\u00e4.\nTutkimustulokset olivat samassa linjassa aiempien tutkimusten kanssa. Tulosten perusteella koulu koettiin yhdeksi arjen kohtaamispaikaksi, jossa nuoret yll\u00e4pit\u00e4v\u00e4t sosiaalisia suhteita. Sosiaalisten suhteiden lis\u00e4ksi viihtyis\u00e4 koulurakennus edisti eniten nuorten kouluhyvinvointia. Tulosten mukaan kouluhyvinvointia estiv\u00e4t eniten nuoren huono koulumotivaatio ja alhainen min\u00e4k\u00e4sitys heid\u00e4n itsens\u00e4 arvioimana.
