Niit\u00e4 koskeva diskurssi painottuu merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti oppilaiden n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmaan, vaikka asiantuntijoiden n\u00e4kemysten mukaan tietoisuustaitojen koulumaailmaan rantautuminen l\u00e4htee opettajien omasta harjoittelusta. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, millaisia kokemuksia opettajilla on tietoisuustaitojen s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6llisest\u00e4 harjoittamisesta sek\u00e4 millaisia merkityksi\u00e4 he n\u00e4kev\u00e4t tietoisuustaidoilla koulumaailmassa. Tutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin haastattelemalla 11 erityis-, luokan- ja aineen-opettajaa, joilla oli kokemusta tietoisuustaitojen s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6llisest\u00e4 harjoittamisesta. Haastateltavat olivat 37\u201362-vuotiaita, asuivat eri puolilla Suomea ja olivat kaikki naisia. Aineistonkeruumenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 oli puolistrukturoitu teemahaastattelu, jonka pohjalta laadulliselle aineistolle toteutettiin temaattinen analyysi. Tutkimusta ohjasi fenomenologis-hermeneuttinen tutkimusote. Tutkimustulosten perusteella tietoisuustaitojen harjoittaminen oli antanut tutkittaville uusia suhtautumisen, havainnoinnin ja toiminnan tapoja, jotka olivat edesauttaneet hyvinvoinnin, l\u00e4sn\u00e4olon, rauhan ja joustavuuden kasvanutta el\u00e4m\u00e4nlaadullista kokemista niin arjessa kuin ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4kin. Koulumaailmassa tietoisuustaitojen merkitys koettiin t\u00e4rke\u00e4ksi oppilaiden hyvinvoinnin, oppimisen, opettajan ja oppilaan v\u00e4lisen vuorovaikutuksen sek\u00e4 luokan ilmapiirin edist\u00e4misen kannalta.
