Lis\u00e4ksi selvitettiin, miten ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t kokevat tukea tarvitsevien lasten vanhempien kanssa teht\u00e4v\u00e4n p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4isen yhteisty\u00f6n sek\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden keinoja v\u00e4litt\u00e4\u00e4 ik\u00e4vi\u00e4 viestej\u00e4 lapsen p\u00e4iv\u00e4n kulusta. Lopuksi selvitettiin ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden koulutustarpeita p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4isen yhteisty\u00f6n parantamiseksi. Tutkimuksen lopputuotoksena luotiin t\u00e4ydennyskoulutusvideo. \nTutkimus toteutettiin yhdell\u00e4 kehitt\u00e4mistutkimuksen syklill\u00e4 seuraavien vaiheiden kautta: teoreettinen ongelma-analyysi, empiirinen ongelma-analyysi ja kehitt\u00e4misvaihe. Teoreettisena ongelma-analyysina toimi tutkimuksen teoreettinen viitekehys. T\u00e4m\u00e4 analyysi osoitti, ett\u00e4 p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4isess\u00e4 yhteisty\u00f6ss\u00e4 on kehitett\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4, etenkin kohti perhel\u00e4ht\u00f6ist\u00e4 toimintatapaa. T\u00e4ydennyskoulutukselle on my\u00f6s aiempien selvitysten mukaan koettu tarvetta. \nEmpiirisess\u00e4 ongelma-analyysissa aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin teemahaastattelemalla 12 varhaiskasvatuksen ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4\u00e4 ja analysoitiin teoriaohjaavalla sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysilla. Empiirisen ongelma-analyysin tulosten mukaan varhaiskasvatuksen henkil\u00f6kunta pit\u00e4\u00e4 p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4ist\u00e4 yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 merkityksellisen\u00e4 osana omaa ty\u00f6t\u00e4\u00e4n. Onnistunutta yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 luonnehdittiin avoimeksi ja positiiviseksi vuorovaikutukseksi, jossa luottamusta on rakennettu osapuolten v\u00e4lille. Tukea tarvitsevien lasten vanhempien ja henkil\u00f6kunnan v\u00e4list\u00e4 vuorovaikutusta kuvattiin syvemm\u00e4ksi ja aktiivisemmaksi. Ik\u00e4vien viestien kertomiseen haluttiin sis\u00e4llytt\u00e4\u00e4 my\u00f6s my\u00f6nteisi\u00e4 asioita lapsen p\u00e4iv\u00e4st\u00e4, sek\u00e4 ylip\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4\u00e4n v\u00e4hent\u00e4\u00e4 ik\u00e4vien viestien m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4 sopimalla p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4ist\u00e4 yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 koskevia strategioita. T\u00e4ydennyskoulutus kehitettiin tutkimuksen tulosten perusteella.
