Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin luokanopettajien vuorovaikutuksen laatua ja ty\u00f6stressi\u00e4 1. luokan syksyll\u00e4 ja kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi selvitettiin, miten vuorovaikutuksen laatu ja ty\u00f6stressi ovat yhteydess\u00e4 toisiinsa lukuvuoden aikana. Tutkimuksessa oltiin my\u00f6s kiinnostuneita siit\u00e4, miten opettajan raportoima tukea tarvitsevien oppilaiden m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 oli yhteydess\u00e4 vuorovaikutuksen laatuun ja ty\u00f6stressiin.\nTutkimuksen aineisto oli osa laajempaa Teacher and Student Stress and Interaction in Classroom (TESSI) -tutkimushanketta. T\u00e4h\u00e4n tutkimukseen osallistui 53 ensimm\u00e4isen luokan luokanopettajaa Keski-Suomesta syksyll\u00e4 ja kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4. Vuorovaikutuksen laatua analysoitiin videonauhoitusten pohjalta Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS K-3) -havaintomenetelm\u00e4ll\u00e4. Ponnistelujen ja palkkioiden ep\u00e4suhtaa sek\u00e4 koettua ty\u00f6stressi\u00e4 koskeva aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin strukturoidulla kyselylomakkeella. Aineiston analyysissa hy\u00f6dynnettiin m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisi\u00e4 menetelmi\u00e4: keskiarvoja, Pearsonin ja Spearmanin korrelaatiokertoimia ja lineaarista regressioanalyysia. \nTulokset osoittivat luokanopettajien kokevan syksyll\u00e4 hieman enemm\u00e4n ty\u00f6stressi\u00e4 kuin kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4. Vuorovaikutuksen laatu sen sijaan pysyi samantasoisena l\u00e4pi lukuvuoden. Vuorovaikutuksen laadun ja luokanopettajien kokeman ty\u00f6stressin v\u00e4lill\u00e4 ei l\u00f6ytynyt tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4\u00e4 yhteytt\u00e4 lukuvuoden aikana. Opettajien raportoiman tukea tarvitsevien oppilaiden m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 oli yhteydess\u00e4 ponnistelujen ja palkkioiden ep\u00e4suhtaan sek\u00e4 vuorovaikutuksen laatuun toiminnan organisoinnin ja ohjauksellisen tuen osalta.
