Jokainen ohjaaja ohjasi tutkimuksessa yht\u00e4 ryhm\u00e4\u00e4. Luokanopettajaopiskelijoiden ohjaamat oppilasryhm\u00e4t valittiin tutkimukseen suoritettujen esi- ja j\u00e4lkitestien mukaan m\u00e4\u00e4ritettyjen normalisoidun muutoksen arvojen perusteella. Toisen ryhm\u00e4n keskim\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4inen normalisoidun muutoksen arvo oli korkea ja toisen matala. Oppilaat tutustuivat simulaatiopohjaisessa oppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4 keinulaudan tasapainottamiseen liittyviin lainalaisuuksiin. Oppilasryhm\u00e4t koostuivat kolmesta kuudennen luokan oppilaasta. Jokaisella ryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 oli oma ohjaajansa, joka tuki oppilaiden oppimista oppimistilanteen aikana. Ohjaajien suorittamien tukitoimien analysointi suoritettiin videopohjaisen aineiston ja sen pohjalta muodostettujen litteraattien perusteella. Ohjaajien suorittamat tukitoimet luokiteltiin aikaisempien tutkimusten pohjalta muodostettuihin tukimuotoihin. Ohjaajien suorittamia tukitoimia analysoitiin sek\u00e4 m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisesti ett\u00e4 laadullisesti. Ohjaajien suorittamien tukitoimien v\u00e4lilt\u00e4 l\u00f6ytyi runsaasti samankaltaisuuksia, mutta toisaalta my\u00f6s eroavaisuuksia. Luokanopettajaopiskelijoiden ohjauksessa oli kesken\u00e4\u00e4n tiettyj\u00e4 eroja, joiden yhteytt\u00e4 normalisoituun muutokseen ei voitu m\u00e4\u00e4ritt\u00e4\u00e4 n\u00e4in pienell\u00e4 aineistolla. Toisaalta opettajakouluttajan ohjaaman ryhm\u00e4n oppimistulokset olivat my\u00f6s alhaiset ja h\u00e4nen antama ohjauksensa erosi jossain m\u00e4\u00e4rin kummankin luokanopettaopiskelijan ohjauksesta. Tarkempien johtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6sten muodostamiseksi oppimistulosten ja tukitoimien v\u00e4list\u00e4 yhteytt\u00e4 tulisikin tarkastella suuremmalla aineistolla.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "This study focused on analysing and comparing teacher support given by two class teacher trainees and one teacher trainer in guiding sixth grader student groups in simulation-based experimental work. During the learning situation students studied the laws of balancing in a simulation-based learning environment. Each of the supervisors guided one of the student groups, which constituted of three sixth graders. Supervisor\u2019s intention was to provide support to the students. Groups, which had a class teaching trainee as their supervisor, were chosen based on group average improvement. This improvement was defined as the normalized change. Measures of support performed by each of the group\u2019s supervisors were classified as different forms of guidance by using a literature review. Support provided by supervisors was recorded as videos, and then transcribed. This material was then analyzed by making use of quantitative and qualitative methods. The forms of guidance between supervisors were found similar to some extent. The performance of the groups guided by the class teacher trainees were differing: one of the groups guided by the class teaching trainee had low average normalized change value, while the other group had a relatively high average normalized change value. However, the association between these differences in guidance and the normalized change was not observed because of a too small sample size. On the other hand, the group guided by the teacher trainer had also a low group average improvement. In addition, the guidance provided by the teacher trainer differed from the guidance provided by both of the class teacher trainees.
