Tutkielmassa k\u00e4yd\u00e4\u00e4n my\u00f6s l\u00e4pi harvinaisten maametallien jalostusta mineraaleista tuotteiksi, miss\u00e4 aihe rajataan tutkielman kokeellisen osan kannalta olennaisimpiin asioihin. Lis\u00e4ksi kerrotaan kokeellisessa osassa k\u00e4ytett\u00e4vist\u00e4 analyysimenetelmist\u00e4 sek\u00e4 analyysitulosten tilastollisesta k\u00e4sittelyst\u00e4. \nTutkielman kokeellisessa osassa pyrittiin kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n hydrometallurginen menetelm\u00e4 harvinaisten maametallien liuottamiseksi allaniittirikasteesta. Ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 optimoitiin rikkihappopohjainen liuotus, jolla harvinaiset maametallit onnistuttiin liuottamaan allaniittirikasteesta valtaosaltaan. Optimoinnissa s\u00e4\u00e4dettiin rikkihapon konsentraatiota, liuotusaikaa sek\u00e4 liuotusl\u00e4mp\u00f6tilaa. Parhaimmiksi liuotusparametreiksi laboratoriomittakaavassa osoittautui kaksi molaarinen rikkihappo (2 mol/dm3 H2SO4), nelj\u00e4n tunnin liuotusaika sek\u00e4 liuotus huoneenl\u00e4mp\u00f6tilassa. Ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 luotiin my\u00f6s mittausmetodi induktiivisesti kytketylle plasma-optiselle emissiospektrometrille (ICP-OES), jolla ty\u00f6n n\u00e4yteliuokset pystyttiin mittaamaan. \nLis\u00e4ksi ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 ennakoivasti tutkittiin, olisiko laserin aiheuttama fluoresenssi (LIF) k\u00e4ytt\u00f6kelpoinen menetelm\u00e4 liuotussakkojen REE-pitoisuuksien nopeaan analysointiin.
