Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 millaisina liikunnanopettajat kokevat omat valmiutensa huomioida oppilaiden yksil\u00f6llisen oppimisen tarpeet liikunnanopetuksessaan, mink\u00e4laisin keinon liikunnanopettajat huomioivat oppilaan yksil\u00f6llisen oppimisen tarpeet liikunnanopetuksessaan sek\u00e4 mink\u00e4laisia n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 liikunnanopettajilla on yksil\u00f6llisen oppimisen tuen toteutumisesta liikunnanopetuksessa. \n\nTutkimus toteutettiin laadullisella tutkimusmenetelm\u00e4ll\u00e4 haastattelemalla nelj\u00e4\u00e4 kokenutta liikunnanopettajaa. Aineiston analyysimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin teoriaohjaavaa sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysi\u00e4, jossa aineisto analysoitiin teoreettisten n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmien pohjalta. Teoreettinen viitekehys koostui oppilaan yksil\u00f6llisen oppimisen tuesta liikunnanopetuksessa, joista tutkimuksen tulosten kannalta oleellisimpia olivat eriytt\u00e4minen ja kolmiportainen tuki. \n\nTutkimukseen osallistuneet liikunnanopettajat kokivat, ett\u00e4 heill\u00e4 on valmiuksia huomioida oppilaiden yksil\u00f6llisen oppimisen tarpeet liikunnanopetuksessaan ja se koettiin henkil\u00f6kohtaisesti t\u00e4rke\u00e4n\u00e4 asiana. N\u00e4m\u00e4 valmiudet olivat kertyneet ty\u00f6vuosien aikana, ei niink\u00e4\u00e4n koulutuksen kautta. Oppimisen tukena on k\u00e4ytetty kolmiportaisen tuen yleist\u00e4 ja erityist\u00e4 tukea, mutta ei tehostettua tukea. Kolmiportainen tuki ei haastateltavien mielest\u00e4 ole kaikista toimivin tuen antamisen malli liikunnanopetuksessa, vaan liikunta oppiaineena kaipaisi oman yksil\u00f6n tukemisen mallin. Haastateltavat toivat useamman kerran esiin resurssien v\u00e4h\u00e4isyyden tai niiden puuttumisen. The objective for the study was to find out that how the physical education teachers experience their own readiness taking into consideration students individual needs in their physical education, with which kind of methods the physical education teachers take into consideration the individual needs of students in their education and what kind of views the physical education teachers have about that how does the support for the individual learning come true in the physical education. \n\nThe study was carried out with the method of qualitative analysis by interviewing four experienced physical education teachers. The approach for the analysis was carried out by theory-guided approach, where the material was analyzed from the aspect of theoretical views. Theoretical frame of reference was consisted of the support for students individual learning in physical education, where the most relevant matters for the results were differentiation and three-step support. \n\nThe teachers that participated the study felt that they have readiness for taking into consideration the individual needs of students in their teaching and personally they perceived that an important matter. The readiness was built up during the years of working, not so much from their education itself. To support the learning, the general and special support of the three-step support was used, but not the intensified support. The interviewees felt that the three-step support is not the best method for giving support in the physical education, but instead physical education as a subject would need a specific support model. The interviewees pointed out multiple times the partial or total lack of resources.
