The purpose of the experiment was to\ninvestigate an unexpected behavior of cross sections found in certain exotic nuclei.\nEspecially of interest was a sudden growth, observed in heavy helium and lithium\nisotopes at low energies. These features are presumably manifestations of a halo and\ncluster-like structures in these nuclei. Obtained results may yield relevant data for\nthe development of more accurate microscopic nuclear models and radiation resistant\nelectronics.
