Kirjallisuuskatsauksen pohjalta luotua viitekehyst\u00e4 ei ole empiirisesti validoitu, joten t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen\ntavoitteena on testata viitekehyksen toimivuutta suomalaisessa kontekstissa n\u00e4ytteenomaisen otannan avulla. Naimin ja Lenkan viitekehyksen nelj\u00e4 tutkittavaa osa-aluetta ovat strateginen johtaminen, mentorointi, sosiaalinen media ja tiedon jakaminen, jotka katsauksen mukaan vaikuttavat osaamisen kehittymiseen\nja sit\u00e4 kautta affektiiviseen sitoutumiseen sek\u00e4 haluun j\u00e4\u00e4d\u00e4 organisaatioon. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen empiirinen aineisto tuotettiin haastattelemalla seitsem\u00e4\u00e4 vakituisessa asiantuntijateht\u00e4v\u00e4ss\u00e4 ty\u00f6skentelev\u00e4\u00e4 Y-sukupolvea edustavaa nuorta, jotka ovat syntyneet vuosien 82\u201393 v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Aineisto analysoitiin sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysia hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4en. Tutkimuksessa tuodaan esille haastateltavien n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 ja kokemuksia nelj\u00e4st\u00e4 osa-alueesta ja niiden vaikutuksesta osaamisen kehittymiseen ja sit\u00e4 kautta organisaatioon sitoutumiseen viitekehyst\u00e4 mukaillen. Tutkimuksessa havaittiin, ett\u00e4 tulkinnat eri osa-alueiden v\u00e4lill\u00e4 meniv\u00e4t ristiin, joten tulosten perusteella Naimin ja Lenkan viitekehyksest\u00e4 esitet\u00e4\u00e4n uusi k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6nl\u00e4heisempi kuva. Kuvassa tarkennetaan, ett\u00e4 sek\u00e4 ik\u00e4johtaminen ett\u00e4 osaamisen johtaminen organisaation strategiassa tukevat mentorointia ja sit\u00e4 kautta tiedon jakamista yrityksess\u00e4. Kun tietoa jaetaan, osaaminen kehittyy. Sosiaalinen media osoittautui tulosten perusteella irrallisimmaksi kokonaisuudeksi.
