Koska dialogisuutta on uudessa opetussuunnitelmassa painotettu, on \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4misen opetuskin p\u00e4\u00e4ssyt nostamaan p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4\u00e4n isommaksi osaksi Englannin kielen opettamista. T\u00e4h\u00e4n on my\u00f6s vaikuttanut ajatus kansainv\u00e4lisemm\u00e4st\u00e4 kielikompetenssista, joka ajaa ajatusta siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 oppilaan on hyv\u00e4 selviyty\u00e4 kommunikatiivisissa tilanteissa niin hyvin kuin mahdollista, t\u00e4ss\u00e4 globalisoituvassa maailmassa. Jotta t\u00e4m\u00e4 tavoite voitaisiin saavuttaa, on huomiota kiinnitetty \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4misen opettamiseen, materiaalipakettien kehitt\u00e4miseen, ja ylip\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4\u00e4n puhumista kannustavien teht\u00e4vien lis\u00e4\u00e4miseen.\n\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 mit\u00e4 lukio-opettajat ajattelevat \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4misen opetuksesta, mit\u00e4 he pit\u00e4v\u00e4t t\u00e4rke\u00e4n\u00e4 \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4misen opettamisessa, miten he opettavat \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4mist\u00e4, ja mit\u00e4 n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 heill\u00e4 on natiivimaisen \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4misen tavoittelusta ja ymm\u00e4rrett\u00e4vyyteen pyrkimisest\u00e4. Vaikka tutkimusta \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4misest\u00e4 on paljon, on sen painotus ollut enemm\u00e4n opiskelijoiden mielipiteiss\u00e4 ja n\u00e4kemyksiss\u00e4, joten t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli tuoda esille opettajien n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmia.\n\nTutkimukseeni osallistui kolme lukion englannin opettajaa kahdesta lukiosta Keski-Suomen ja Pirkanmaan alueilta. Tutkimus toteutettiin puolistrukturoituna haastatteluna, joka sis\u00e4lsi avoimia kysymyksi\u00e4 kolmesta isommasta p\u00e4\u00e4aiheesta, jotka olivat t\u00e4rke\u00e4t osat \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4misen opetuksessa, opettajien metodit \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4misen opetuksessa, ja natiivisuus sek\u00e4 ymm\u00e4rrett\u00e4vyys. Tutkimus toteutettiin marraskuussa 2018.\n\nTuloksista selvisi, ett\u00e4 \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4miseen tarkoitetut teht\u00e4v\u00e4t ovat monipuolistuneet ja lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyneet, ja opettajat kokivat t\u00e4rke\u00e4ksi, ett\u00e4 \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4mist\u00e4 opetetaan positiivisella asenteella, keskittym\u00e4ll\u00e4 yleiskuvaan eik\u00e4 yksitt\u00e4isiin virheisiin. Opettajat my\u00f6s kokivat, ett\u00e4 ymm\u00e4rrett\u00e4v\u00e4 \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4minen on t\u00e4rke\u00e4mp\u00e4\u00e4 kuin natiivimainen, ja ett\u00e4 t\u00e4rkeint\u00e4 olisi oppia pois rallienglannista ja oppia \u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4misen perusteet.
