Vaikkakin \nsosiaaliset, kognitiiviset ja emotionaaliset seikat, jotka vaikuttavat \ntietoteknologian omaksumiseen ja k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n, on tutkittu jossain m\u00e4\u00e4rin, on \nedelleen tilaa jatkotutkimukselle. Erityisesti liittyen siihen kuinka n\u00e4ihin \nseikkoihin voidaan vaikuttaa ulkopuolelta, esimerkiksi organisaation puolesta. \nT\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus tarkastelee yksil\u00f6iden emootioiden ja kognitioiden roolia \norganisatorisessa IT implementaatiossa m\u00e4\u00e4rittelem\u00e4ll\u00e4 k\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4n \nk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen n\u00e4iss\u00e4 tilanteissa, selvitt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 kuinka k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen voidaan \nvaikuttaa ja kuinka onnistuneita n\u00e4m\u00e4 eri tavat ovat. Ensinn\u00e4kin \npohjakirjallisuudesta on ker\u00e4tty erilaisia tapoja vaikuttaa k\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4n \nk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen. Kirjallisuudesta on valittu yhteens\u00e4 kahdeksan erilaista \ntutkimusta, jotka ovat joko kognitiopohjaisia, emootiopohjaisia tai yhdistelev\u00e4t \nmolempia puolia. N\u00e4it\u00e4 kirjallisuusosuudessa l\u00f6ydettyj\u00e4 keinoja on my\u00f6hemmin \npeilattu empiirisen tutkimuksen tuloksiin. Tutkimuksen empiirinen osuus on \ntoteutettu tutkimalla laaja-alaista tietoj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6nottoprojektia \nsuuressa teollisuusorganisaatiossa kahdessa eri kvalitatiivisessa \nhaastattelukokonaisuudessa. Esihaastatteluissa on ker\u00e4tty pohjatietoa itse \nprojektista sek\u00e4 ker\u00e4tty jo k\u00e4ytettyj\u00e4 keinoja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4jien k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen \nvaikuttamiseksi. N\u00e4ihin yksil\u00f6haastatteluihin osallistuvat ovat kuuluneet eri \ntavoin k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6nottoprojektiin. Loppuk\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4haastatteluissa on taasen selvitetty \nmiten erilaiset tavat vaikuttaa heihin ovat toimineet heid\u00e4n mielest\u00e4\u00e4n. \nTuloksissa n\u00e4it\u00e4 kirjallisuudesta sek\u00e4 haastatteluista l\u00f6ytyneit\u00e4 keinoja on \nvertailtu ja peilattu toisiinsa ja n\u00e4in pyritty l\u00f6yt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n t\u00e4rkeimm\u00e4t keinot, ne \nkeinot, jotka eiv\u00e4t ole toimineet sek\u00e4 keinot joiden k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4 tulee harkita. \nTutkimus paljasti suuren yht\u00e4l\u00e4isyyden kirjallisuuden l\u00f6yd\u00f6sten ja tutkitun \nprojektin v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Even though the social, cognitive and emotional aspects that \ninfluence the adoption and also use of IT are examined in some extent, there is \nstill room for further research, especially how these factors can be influenced \nfrom outside, for example by the organization. This research examines the role of \nindividuals\u2019 emotions and cognitions in organizational IT implementation by \ndefining user behavior in these situations, which way the behavior can be \ninfluenced and how successful these ways are. At first, different ways to \ninfluence the user behavior are collected from the literature where there are \nselected eight different research that is either cognitive-based, emotion-based or \ncombining both factors. These found ways are later on mirrored with the findings \nfrom the empirical part of the research. This qualitative research has focused on \none large-scale IT implementation project in a large industry organization. The \nresearch is executed with two types of interviews. The preliminary interviews are \nkept individually to a group of people from different positions in the \nimplementation project to collect background information about the project itself \nand also to collect used ways to influence the end-users. The primary interviews \nare kept to end-users to find out how different ways to influence have succeeded \nby their mind. In the results, the ways that are found from literature and the ways \nthat were found in the interviews are compared and mirrored to each other, and \nby this, there found which ways have been the most important, which ways have \nnot worked and what needs to be considered when using them. The research \nrevealed that there was actually rather a large similarity with the literature and \nthe project that was examined. As the end-users mostly felt that they had control \nover the change and that the new system was more of an opportunity than threat \nthe overall emotional reaction towards the implementation was promotion-\nfocused. It was found that the most important influence had the key users as \ncommunicators and trainers.
