T\u00e4ss\u00e4 pro gradu- tutkielmassa selvitettiin opettajien asenteita erityist\u00e4 tukea tarvitsevien oppilaiden inkluusioon sek\u00e4 n\u00e4ihin asenteisiin vaikuttavia tekij\u00f6it\u00e4. Opettajien asenteita inkluusioon on tutkittu melko paljon niin Suomessa kuin kansainv\u00e4lisestikin, mutta t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen n\u00e4k\u00f6kulma oli harvinaisempi: asiaa tarkasteltiin opettajien n\u00e4kemyksist\u00e4 oppilaille sopivimman oppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n kautta. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkittiin, tapahtuuko opettajien inkluusioasenteissa muutosta vuosien 2010 ja 2012 aikana.\n\nTutkimuksessa k\u00e4ytetty aineisto oli osa It\u00e4-Suomen Erityisopetuksen kehitt\u00e4misverkosto (ISKE) -hanketta. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin kyselytutkimuksena vuosina 2010-2012 kuuden pienen tai keskisuuren it\u00e4suomalaisen kunnan kouluilta. Tutkimuksessa ei ollut mukana erityiskouluja. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 pro gradu- tutkielmassa hy\u00f6dynnettiin vuosien 2010 ja 2012 kyselyj\u00e4. Tutkimusaineisto analysoitiin erilaisin tilastollisin menetelmin.\n\nTulosten perusteella opettajat suhtautuivat erityist\u00e4 tukea tarvitsevien oppilaiden inkluusioon p\u00e4\u00e4osin my\u00f6nteisesti. Oppilaan vamman tai h\u00e4iri\u00f6n tyyppi ja sen vakavuus olivat kuitenkin yhteydess\u00e4 siihen, kuinka my\u00f6nteisesti opettaja asennoitui erityist\u00e4 tukea tarvitsevan oppilaan inkluusioon yleisopetuksen ryhm\u00e4\u00e4n. Yleisesti ottaen lievempiin vammoihin ja h\u00e4iri\u00f6ihin suhtauduttiin my\u00f6nteisemmin kuin vakavampiin. Inkluusioasenteet muuttuivat opettajilla my\u00f6nteisemmiksi vuodesta 2010 vuoteen 2012 oppilaalla olevien lievien ja vakavien vammojen ja h\u00e4iri\u00f6iden suhteen, mutta aistivammojen osalta opettajien asenteissa ei tapahtunut muutosta. Opettajien inkluusioasenteiden muutos oli samanlaista riippumatta opettajan sukupuolesta, teht\u00e4v\u00e4nimikkeest\u00e4 tai ty\u00f6kokemuksesta.\n\nTutkimus osoittaa sen, ett\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4osin opettajien asenteet ovat kehittym\u00e4ss\u00e4 inklusiivisempaan suuntaan. Yksil\u00f6llisyytt\u00e4 ja oppilaiden moninaisuutta arvostetaan koululuokissa yh\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n.
