Tutkittavista suurin osa muodosti tutkimuksen koeryhm\u00e4n ja osallistui MALTTI- tarkkaavuuden ja toiminnanohjauksen ryhm\u00e4kuntoutusinterventioon. \nTutkimus toteutettiin tilastollisin menetelmin. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin tietyist\u00e4 Etel\u00e4-, Keski- ja It\u00e4- Suomen alakouluista Niilo M\u00e4ki Instituutin j\u00e4rjest\u00e4m\u00e4n SELDI- hankkeen puitteissa. Aineiston ker\u00e4\u00e4misess\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin BERS-, SDQ- ja KESKY- kyselylomakkeita. Aineisto analysoitiin toistomittausten varianssianalyysin ja Pearsonin tulomomenttikorrelaatiokertoimen avulla. \nTutkimus osoitti, ett\u00e4 eri vastaajaryhmien k\u00e4sitykset oppilaista muuttuivat p\u00e4\u00e4osin samansuuntaisesti riippumatta siit\u00e4, kuuluiko oppilas koe- vai kontrolliryhm\u00e4\u00e4n. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkimuksesta k\u00e4vi ilmi, ett\u00e4 intervention my\u00f6nteinen tai kielteinen sujuminen muuttaa opettajien k\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 oppilaiden ongelmista ja oppilaiden omia k\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 vahvuuksistaan samalla tavalla my\u00f6nteisesti tai kielteisesti. Tuloksista ilmeni my\u00f6s, ett\u00e4 eri vastaajaryhmien k\u00e4sitysten muutoksilla ei juuri ollut yhteytt\u00e4 toisten vastaajaryhmien k\u00e4sitysten muutoksiin.\nTutkimuksen perusteella voidaan p\u00e4\u00e4tell\u00e4, ett\u00e4 intervention sujumisella on vaikutus opettajan suhtautumiseen oppilaaseen. Esimerkiksi hyvin sujunut interventio voi muuttaa opettaja-oppilas vuorovaikutussuhdetta my\u00f6nteisemm\u00e4ksi.
