Palvelun\nkehitykseen kuuluu esimerkiksi uuden palvelun suunnittelu, analysointi,\nkehitys ja julkaisu. My\u00f6s jo olemassa oleman palvelun parannukset ja palvelulinjauudistukset\nkuuluvat palvelukehityksen piiriin. Uudet koneoppimisen algoritmit\nja big data-analyysit vaikuttavat tutkimusten valossa k\u00e4ytt\u00f6kelpoisilta\naiheen kannalta. Tutkimustulosten valossa esimerkiksi palvelulinjauudistuksissa,\nkuten uusien matkantarjoajien uusien reittien laskemissa voidaan hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4\nteko\u00e4ly\u00e4. My\u00f6s palveluiden ehostamiseen voidaan hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 esimerkiksi dataanalyyseja\nsosiaalisesta mediasta ker\u00e4ttyjen asiakaspalautteiden perusteella.\nTutkimustuloksena saatiin my\u00f6s, ett\u00e4 teko\u00e4ly\u00e4 ei viel\u00e4 laajalti k\u00e4ytet\u00e4 palvelukehityksess\u00e4,\nmutta sille n\u00e4hd\u00e4\u00e4n suuri potentiaali tulevaisuudessa. Artificial intelligence is taking its place from several\nindustries as ICT is standard nowadays. Service industry is huge in global\ncontext and it is predicted to grow even more. Amount of new services increases\nall the time and this study tries to find out how artificial intelligence is now\nused in service development and how it could be used in the future. Service development\nis a process and it includes steps: designing a new service, analyzing\nnew service, developing new service and publishing new service. Also, improvements\nto existing services and service reforms are in the field of service development.\nExisting studies show that machine learning and data mining are\nuseful methods in the field of service development. Results show that for example\nservice reforms can be done utilizing AI to calculate better routes for transportation\nservices. Also, service improvements can be done by analyzing data from\nsocial media and customer reviews. As a second result, was given that artificial\nintelligence is not yet used extensively in field of service development, but it is\ngiven a great potential in future in field of service development. This Study\nshows concepts of service development, artificial intelligence. Research question\nis: How artificial intelligence can be used in service development and its\nprocesses?
