Joka kolmas ty\u00f6ik\u00e4inen suomalainen k\u00e4rsii tilap\u00e4isest\u00e4 unettomuudesta ja kymmenesosalla esiintyy kroonista unettomuutta. Unettomuuden K\u00e4yp\u00e4 hoito -suosituksen (2015) mukaan uniongelmiin on t\u00e4rke\u00e4 l\u00f6yt\u00e4\u00e4 muita ratkaisuja kuin unil\u00e4\u00e4kkeet, joilla on haitallisia sivuvaikutuksia sek\u00e4 yhteys lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyneeseen kuolleisuuteen. Tension/Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), stressinpurkuliikkeet on kehollinen itsehoitomenetelm\u00e4, joka aktivoi limbisen j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n toimintaa. Menetelm\u00e4 perustuu kehon biologiseen ja\r\nneurologiseen kykyyn palautua stressaavista tai muista kuormittavista tilanteista. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa kartoitettiin osallistujien kokemuksia TRE -harjoittelusta ja nukkumisesta 10 viikkoisen intervention aikana. Tavoitteena oli tuottaa tietoa siit\u00e4, mill\u00e4 tavoin osallistujat kokevat TRE -harjoittelun ja kuinka he nukkuvat harjoittelun j\u00e4lkeisin\u00e4 \u00f6in\u00e4.\r\nInterventioon osallistui 10 henkil\u00f6\u00e4 (naisia n=8, miehi\u00e4 n=2). Tutkimusaineisto koostui osallistujien pit\u00e4mist\u00e4 p\u00e4iv\u00e4kirjoista intervention aikana syyskuusta marraskuuhun 2015. Interventioon kuului ohjattu TRE -ryhm\u00e4harjoitus kerran viikossa sek\u00e4 osallistujien itsen\u00e4inen harjoittelu 1-3 kertaa viikossa. Lis\u00e4ksi osallistujilta ker\u00e4ttiin tietoa nukkumiseen liittyvist\u00e4 tekij\u00f6ist\u00e4 BNSQ -unikyselylomakkeella intervention alussa ja lopussa. P\u00e4iv\u00e4kirja-aineisto\r\nanalysoitiin laadullisella sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysilla ja kyselyaineisto analysoitiin k\u00e4ytt\u00e4en frekvenssej\u00e4 ja prosenttiosuuksia.\r\nTRE -harjoittelu koettiin p\u00e4\u00e4asiassa my\u00f6nteisen\u00e4 sek\u00e4 hy\u00f6dyllisen\u00e4 rauhoittumisen ja rentoutumisen v\u00e4lineen\u00e4, joka lievensi arjen kiireist\u00e4, stressaantunutta tai ahdistunutta olotilaa, lis\u00e4ksi menetelm\u00e4 koettiin kipua lievitt\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4. Harjoituksen j\u00e4lkeen koettiin sek\u00e4 levottomia ett\u00e4 levollisia \u00f6it\u00e4. Y\u00f6aikaiset her\u00e4\u00e4miset pysyiv\u00e4t ennallaan. One third of the working-age Finnish suffer from temporary insomnia and tenth occur in chronic insomnia. According to the Current Care Guidelines of insomnia (2015) is important for sleeping problems find other solutions than sleeping pills that have harmful side effects, as well as access to increased mortality. Tension / Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) is a bodily self-help method, which activates the activity of the limbic system. The method based on the body's biological and neurological ability to recover from stressful situations or other burden\r\non the environment. This study surveyed participants experiences of TRE -training and sleep during the 10-weeks intervention. The aim was to provide information on how the participants feel TRE -training and how they sleep after training.\r\nIntervention attended by 10 people (women n = 8, men n = 2). The data consists of keeping diaries of the participants during the intervention from September to November 2015. Intervention was controlled TRE -group exercise once a week, as well as independent work of participants 1-3 times a week. In addition, the participants collected information on factors associated with sleeping BNSQ -sleep questionnaire at the beginning and at the end of the intervention. Diary data were analyzed by qualitative content analysis and survey data were analyzed using frequencies and percentages.\r\nTRE -training was seen as mainly positive, as well as a useful tool for calming and relaxation, which mitigated the everyday life, the stressed and anguished state of mind, in addition to the method was seen as an analgesic.
