Liikuntapedagogiikan pro gradu -tutkielma, 79s., 6 liitett\u00e4.\r\nTutkimuksemme tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 tytt\u00f6jen ja poikien kokemaa itsem\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4mismoti-vaatiota, motivaatioilmastoa, tavoiteorientaatiota, viihtymist\u00e4 ja huolestuneisuutta tavallisilla liikuntatunneilla sek\u00e4 Move! -toimintakyvynmittaustunneilla.\r\nTutkimuksen kohdejoukkona olivat Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n l\u00e4hialueen ja yhden keskiespoolaisen perus-koulun 5- ja 8-luokkalaiset tyt\u00f6t ja pojat (N= 518). Aineistot ker\u00e4ttiin kouluittain kolmen eri kontaktikerran aikana kyselylomakkeella. Ensimm\u00e4isell\u00e4 kerralla selvitettiin kontekstuaalista liikuntamotivaatiota. Toisella ja kolmannella kontaktikerralla oppilaat suorittivat Move! -toimintakykymittaukset kahden erillisen 90 minuuttia kest\u00e4v\u00e4n liikuntatunnin aikana. Mo-lempien tuntien j\u00e4lkeen kartoitettiin kyselylomakkeiden avulla oppilaiden tilanteellisia moti-vaatiokokemuksia kyseisten Move! -mittaustuntien osalta. Itsem\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4mismotivaation tutkimi-seen k\u00e4ytettiin Sports Motivation Scale 2 -mittarin sek\u00e4 Situational Motivation Scale- mittarin suomenkielist\u00e4 versiota. Motivaatioilmastoa tarkasteltiin Soinin, Liukkosen ja Jaakkolan (2004) kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 motivaatioilmastomittarilla. Viihtymist\u00e4 selvitettiin Enjoyment in Sports Scale \u2013mittarin suomenkielisell\u00e4 versiolla ja huolestuneisuutta yhden v\u00e4itt\u00e4m\u00e4n avulla. Viih-tymis- ja huolestuneisuusv\u00e4itt\u00e4m\u00e4t oli tutkimuksessamme yhdistetty osaksi motivaatioilmas-tomittaria. Tavoiteorientaatiota tarkasteltiin Perception of Success Questionaire \u2013mittarin suomenkielisell\u00e4 lasten versiolla. K\u00e4ytettyjen mittarien luotettavuutta tarkasteltiin Cronbachin alfakertoimella. Tuloksia analysoitiin sukupuolten v\u00e4listen keskiarvojen osalta riippumatto-mien otosten t-testill\u00e4 ja testien v\u00e4lisi\u00e4 yhteyksi\u00e4 tarkasteltiin Pearsonin tulomomenttikorre-laatiokertoimen avulla.\r\nTulosten mukaan oppilaiden kokema sis\u00e4inen motivaatio, teht\u00e4v\u00e4- sek\u00e4 min\u00e4suuntautunut motivaatioilmasto, sosiaalinen yhteenkuuluvuus, koettu autonomia sek\u00e4 viihtyminen olivat korkeampia tavallisilla liikuntatunneilla. Sukupuolten v\u00e4lisess\u00e4 vertailussa motivaatiojatku-mon sis\u00e4ll\u00e4 havaittiin, ett\u00e4 pojat kokivat voimakkaammin ulkoista s\u00e4\u00e4tely\u00e4 sek\u00e4 amotivaatio Move! -tunneilla, ja tyt\u00f6t puolestaan pakotettua s\u00e4\u00e4tely\u00e4 ja amotivaatio tavallisilla tunneilla. Pojat kokivat tytt\u00f6j\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n min\u00e4suuntautunutta motivaatioilmastoa molemmilla tunneilla sek\u00e4 viihtymist\u00e4 tavallisilla tunneilla. Tyt\u00f6t olivat poikia huolestuneempia molemmilla tun-neilla. Tyt\u00f6t olivat teht\u00e4v\u00e4orientoituneempia kuin pojat Move! -tunneilla ja pojat vastaavasti min\u00e4orientoituneempia tavallisilla ja Move! -tunneilla. Tavallisten ja Move! -tuntien aikaista viihtymist\u00e4 selittiv\u00e4t voimakkaimmin oppilaan kokema sis\u00e4inen motivaatio, teht\u00e4v\u00e4suuntau-tunut motivaatioilmasto, sosiaalinen yhteenkuuluvuus sek\u00e4 koettu autonomia.\r\nTulosten perusteella n\u00e4ytt\u00e4isi silt\u00e4, ett\u00e4 oppilaat eiv\u00e4t viihdy aivan yht\u00e4 hyvin toimintakyky-mittaustunneilla kuin tavallisilla liikuntatunneilla. Students\u2019 motivation factors in ordinary physical education classes and Move! classes.\r\nDepartment of Physical Education, University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, Master\u2019s thesis, 79 pp., 6 appendicies.\r\nThe purpose of this study was to investigate how boys and girls experience self-determination, goal orientation, motivational climate, enjoyment and anxiety in ordinary physical education classes, as well as Move! classes.\r\nThe participants of the study were 518 pupils in comprehensive schools nearby Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 and one school in Espoo. The pupils were in fifth and eighth grades and they responded question-naires at three different times. The pupils completed four contextual motivation scales before ordinary physical education class. Those were Sport Motivation Scale, Motivational climate scale, Enjoyment in sports scale and Perception of Success Questionnaire. The situational motivation was investigated right after two Move! ability of function measuring times. The scales were almost the same as the first time but SMS2 was replaced by Situational Motiva-tion Scale. Reliability of scales was reviewed by Cronbach\u2019s alfa. The answers were analyzed by using independent samples T-test, Pearson\u2019s correlation coefficient and comparing mean differences.\r\nIn this study, there were differences detected between ordinary and Move! classes. Intrinsic motivation, task and ego oriented motivational climate, relatedness, autonomy and enjoyment got higher means in ordinary classes than Move! classes. However, both classes got quite good means. The study also revealed differences between genders. In self-determined motiva-tion boys experienced more external regulation and amotivation in Move! classes, and girls experienced more introjected regulation and amotivation in ordinary classes. Boys also found higher means than girls in ego-oriented motivational climate in both classes and enjoyment in ordinary classes. Girls were more anxious than boys in both contextual and situational posi-tions. Girls were more task-oriented in Move! classes and boys were ego-oriented in both classes. Intrinsic motivation, task oriented motivational climate, relatedness and autonomy explained enjoyment in contextual and situational classes.\r\nThese results indicate that pupils do not experience so much intrinsic motivation and enjoy-ment in Move! classes as in ordinary classes.
