The purpose of the study was to examine various HR policy options available, and based on that senior management of the organization would have better view on what sort of HR policies and staff development plans should be emphasized in the organization. The purpose of the policy planning is to support the organization structure and to maximize the staff-ing performance at the workplace throughout the various professional trainings and career development plans.\r\n\r\nThis thesis is based on the various HR management and the organizational behavior theories, were the primary criteria of the investigative work is based on the literature and the results of the enquiry conducted among the managers at the workplace. The organization under intended study is called United Nations Assistant Mission in Af-ghanistan (UNAMA). The main purpose of the workplace study was to collect and compare the information established by the managers. Secondly based on the material, I intended to isolate their experiences on both national and multicultural working places and what in their opinion were the main differences between these two working environments.\r\n\r\nThe thesis was based on the case-type of investigation material and the literature of the administrative science. This was further supported with the research materials col-lected by the conducted workplace interviews.\r\n\r\nIn the light of the results of research, it can be emphasized that during of the process of planning of HR policies for the multicultural organizations. The planning process should be based on the actual cultural staffing structures and their needs.
