Tyo\u0308ssa\u0308 on seka\u0308 teoreettinen etta\u0308 empiirinen osuus. Teoriaosuus ka\u0308sittelee tyo\u0308ntekijo\u0308iden sitoutumista, korkean luotettavuusvaatimuksen organisaatioita (HRO) ja sisa\u0308ista\u0308 viestinta\u0308a\u0308. Empiirisessa\u0308 osuudessa kuvataan tutkimusprosessi, jossa kera\u0308ttiin aineisto kuudella asiantuntijahaastattelulla informaatioteknologian alalla toimivasta organisaatiosta. Employee engagement and the effect it has to an organization\u2019s performance have risen to interest both in practice and in academics, as it is one of the key factors in an organization\u2019s success. Internal communications can support engagement, and thus also affect organization\u2019s operational reliability.\n\nThis thesis is a qualitative study with an abductive method of research. It has both theoretical and empirical sections. The theoretical part explains the terms employee engagement, high reliability organizations (HROs) and internal communications.
