Oppilaiden hyvin erilaiset taitotasot luovat opettajalle haasteen toteuttaa kaikille sopivaa opetusta samassa tilassa. Lis\u00e4ksi erilaiset oppimisvaikeudet tulisi ottaa huomioon opetusta suunniteltaessa ja toteuttaessa. \r\n\r\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 laadullisen kyselytutkimuksen avulla suomalaisten vieraan kielen opettajien k\u00e4ytt\u00e4mi\u00e4 sek\u00e4 tehokkaaksi kokemia opetusmenetelmi\u00e4. Tutkimuksen aineisto koostuu kyselytutkimuksen vastauksista. Kyselyyn vastasi 32 vieraan kielen opettajaa eri puolilta Suomea. Tuloksia verrattiin muutamaan tutkimuskirjallisuudessa yleisesti tehokkaaksi todettuun opetusmenetelm\u00e4\u00e4n, joita olivat yhteistoiminnallinen oppiminen ja vertaistuutorointi, aistien k\u00e4ytt\u00e4minen, muististrategiat ja \u2013s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6t sek\u00e4 eriytt\u00e4minen. \r\n\r\nTuloksista l\u00f6ytyi kekseli\u00e4it\u00e4 ja monipuolisia opetusmenetelmi\u00e4 vieraan kielen tunneille. Tulokset kuitenkin osoittivat my\u00f6s, ett\u00e4 opettajat kokivat eri tasoisille oppilaille opettamisen ajoittain hankalaksi. Kaikki vastaajat kokivat, etteiv\u00e4t olleet saaneet opettajankoulutuksesta riitt\u00e4vi\u00e4 valmiuksia kohdata oppimisvaikeuksia luokassa. \r\n\r\nTulokset kannustavat lis\u00e4tutkimuksiin teorian ja k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n menetelmien yhteydest\u00e4 sek\u00e4 inklusiiviseen vieraan kielen opetukseen sopivista menetelmist\u00e4.
