Description
Summary:Neutron-rich nuclei in the mass region A ≈ 100 have been studied using β-, γ-, and β-delayed neutron spectroscopy in connection with on-line mass separator techniques. Decay properties of ¹⁰²Rb, ⁹⁹⁻¹⁰³Y, ¹⁰⁴⁻¹¹⁰Nb and ¹⁰⁹⁻¹¹²Tc have been determined. The experimental results, which are based on the detection of β-delayed neutrons, are compared with theoretical predictions of the QRPA model. Also, the beam quality of the IGISOL-mass separator was studied using the collinear laser spectroscopy method. In addition, the independent yields for n-rich nuclei produced in 25 MeV proton-induced fission in ⁿᵃᵗU or ⁿᵃᵗTh in the mass region A ≈ 70 - 145 were studied.
