Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin, millaiseksi opettajat kokevat asiantuntijuutensa merkityksen ty\u00f6uransa induktiovaiheessa ja mitk\u00e4 tekij\u00e4t tukevat ja haastavat ty\u00f6hyvinvointia. Tutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin yksil\u00f6- ja fokusryhm\u00e4haastatteluilla nelj\u00e4lt\u00e4 vasta v\u00e4h\u00e4n aikaa ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4 olleelta luokanopettajalta joulukuun 2024 aikana. Aineiston analyysiss\u00e4 hy\u00f6dynnettiin aineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6ist\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysia fenomenologis-hermeneuttista l\u00e4hestymistapaa hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4en. Opettajat kokivat asiantuntijuutensa uran induktiovaiheessa ep\u00e4varmaksi ja jatkuvasti kehittyv\u00e4ksi. Asiantuntijuus rakentui p\u00e4\u00e4osin k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n kokemusten my\u00f6t\u00e4. Ty\u00f6hyvinvointia haastoi erityisesti kokemuksen puute, joka synnytti ep\u00e4varmuutta ja heikensi luottamusta omaan osaamiseen. Toisaalta ty\u00f6hyvinvointia tukivat merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti mentorointi, esihenkil\u00f6n tuki sek\u00e4 my\u00f6nteinen ty\u00f6yhteis\u00f6. N\u00e4iden tukimuotojen avulla vasta ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n siirtyneet opettajat kokivat saavansa varmuutta sek\u00e4 tilaa ammatilliselle kasvulleen. Tutkimuksen perusteella uran induktiovaiheen opettajan asiantuntijuuden kehittymist\u00e4 voidaan tukea vahvistamalla mentorointia, kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 perehdytysk\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6j\u00e4 ja tarjoamalla enemm\u00e4n k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n oppimismahdollisuuksia jo opettajankoulutuksen aikana. Uran induktiovaiheen opettajien tukeminen voi lis\u00e4t\u00e4 merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti alan pitovoimaa.
