Tutkimuksella pyrittiin tarkastelemaan t\u00e4ll\u00e4 hetkell\u00e4 varhaiskasvatuksen arjessa nousevia vaatimuksia ja kuinka koulutus on valmistanut vastaamaan tukea tarvitsevien lasten tarpeisiin. Varhaiskasvatuskontekstissa tutkittu tieto aiheesta n\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytyy v\u00e4h\u00e4isen\u00e4.\nTutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin marraskuussa 2024 anonyymill\u00e4 Webropol - kyselylomakkeella, joka jaettiin sosiaalisessa mediassa ja eri viestint\u00e4kanavilla. Tutkimukseen osallistui 53 varhaiskasvatuksen opettajaa. Vastaukset analysoitiin laadullisin menetelmin, aineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6isesti sek\u00e4 osin teoriaohjaavasti Viitalan (Viitala, 2022, luku 2) osallisuuden ulottuvuuksien avulla. Tutkimuksessa k\u00e4ytettiin temaattisen analyysin keinoja ja l\u00e4hestymistavaltaan tutkimuksessa on tunnistettavissa fenomenografisia piirteit\u00e4.\nTulosten mukaan hyv\u00e4t tehostetun ja erityisen tuen antamisen taidot koostuivat opettajan osaamisesta sek\u00e4 moniammatillisesta yhteisty\u00f6st\u00e4. Vastauksissa korostui pienryhm\u00e4toiminta ja erityisopettajan tuki. Haasteet tukemisessa liittyiv\u00e4t resursseihin sek\u00e4 tilannetekij\u00f6ihin. Yli puolet vastaajista eiv\u00e4t kokeneet koulutuksen antaneen valmiuksia lasten tuen tarpeisiin vastaamiseen. Yli puolet varhaiskasvatuksen opettajista koki, ett\u00e4 tehostettua ja erityist\u00e4 tukea tarvitsevat lapset olivat sek\u00e4 sosiaalisesti ett\u00e4 toiminnallisesti tasavertaisina osa ryhm\u00e4\u00e4, eik\u00e4 heit\u00e4 n\u00e4hty vain fyysisesti osallisina.
