Tavoitteena on tuottaa uutta tietoa, hahmotusta ja ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 opetussuunnitelmatutkimuksen tueksi. \nKouluun kiinnittymist\u00e4 tutkittiin laadullisen sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysin keinoin. Tutkimusaineistona toimi Perusopetuksen opetussuunnitelman perusteet 2014. Tutkimuksen teoreettiset l\u00e4ht\u00f6kohtina olivat kouluun kiinnittymisen kolme ulottuvuutta, jotka ovat tunneper\u00e4inen, toiminnallinen ja kognitiivinen kiinnittyminen, sek\u00e4 Virtasen (2017) malli kiinnittymisen tuen vahvistamisesta. \nKiinnittyminen m\u00e4\u00e4rittyi tuloksissa moniulotteisesti jokaisen kiinnittymisen ulottuvuuden kautta, vaikka ulottuvuuksien p\u00e4\u00e4llekk\u00e4isyytt\u00e4 oli jonkin verran havaittavissa. Tunneper\u00e4inen kiinnittyminen tuli esiin puheena erilaisista sosiaalisista suhteista sek\u00e4 oppilaita innostavasta ja arvostavasta oppimisilmapiirist\u00e4. Toiminnallinen kiinnittyminen m\u00e4\u00e4rittyi koulun toimintaan osallistumista sek\u00e4 ty\u00f6skentely\u00e4 kuvailevasta puheesta. Kognitiivinen kiinnittyminen koostui erilaisista oppimaan oppimisen teemoista. Kouluun kiinnittymisen tuki esitettiin perusopetuksen opetussuunnitelman perusteissa monitasoisena kokonaisuutena, jossa yhdistyiv\u00e4t tuen eri muodot ja vuorovaikutusymp\u00e4rist\u00f6t. Kiinnittymisen tuki koostui oppilastasolla sosiaalisen tuesta, l\u00e4sn\u00e4olon tuesta ja oppimisen tuesta. Yhteisty\u00f6n tekeminen ja oppilashuoltoty\u00f6 liitettiin osaksi laajempaa tuen vuorovaikutusymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00e4.
