Teko\u00e4ly on jo muuttanut ty\u00f6ntekoa ja johtamista, ja sen muutosvaikutusten ennustetaan kasvavan edelleen (Rouhiainen, 2018; Kaivo-Oja & Lauraeus, 2019; Titareva, 2021; Gartner 2024). Teko\u00e4ly\u00e4 halutaan lis\u00e4t\u00e4 suomalaisissa kouluissa sek\u00e4 opetuksessa ett\u00e4 johtamisessa. Suomen nykyisen, Petteri Orpon johtaman hallituksen tavoitteet ohjaavat teko\u00e4lyn hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4mist\u00e4 osana kouluj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n kehitt\u00e4mist\u00e4 (ks. Valtioneuvosto, 2023). \n\nSuomalaisessa koulutusjohtamisen tutkimuskirjallisuudessa teko\u00e4ly esiintyy v\u00e4h\u00e4n ja my\u00f6s kansainv\u00e4lisesti aiheesta on julkaistu niukasti tutkimuskirjallisuutta (ks. Tyson & Sauers, 2021; Wang, 2021, s.5; Karimov ym., 2024). Suomalaisten peruskoulun rehtoreiden n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 teko\u00e4lyst\u00e4 ty\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n ei ole tiett\u00e4v\u00e4sti tutkittu aikaisemmin ja t\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkielma tuottaa uutta tietoa sek\u00e4 ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 aiheesta, jolla on my\u00f6s yhteiskunnallista merkityst\u00e4 (ks. Valtioneuvosto, 2023; Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeri\u00f6, 2024). Tutkielman tavoitteena on kuvailla ja ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4\u00e4 suomalaisten peruskoulun rehtoreiden n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 teko\u00e4lyst\u00e4 ty\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n ja tuottaa tietoa teko\u00e4lyst\u00e4 rehtoreiden n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Tutkimusongelmana toimii: \u201dMillaisia n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 rehtoreilla on teko\u00e4lyst\u00e4 ty\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n?\u201d. \n\nTutkielmaa varten haastateltiin kuutta suomalaista peruskoulun rehtoria ja aineisto analysoitiin teoriaohjaavalla sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysilla. Ohjaavana teoriana toimi laaja pedagoginen johtaminen (Alava ym., 2012), jota k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n laajasti koulutusjohtamisen tutkimuksessa (Lahtero & Kuusilehto-Awale, 2015; Lahtero & Laasonen, 2021; Fons\u00e9n & Lahtero, 2023). Siin\u00e4 rehtorin ty\u00f6 jaetaan viiteen eri sis\u00e4lt\u00f6alueeseen: suora pedagoginen johtaminen, tekninen johtaminen, henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n johtaminen, symbolinen johtaminen ja johtamiskulttuuri. N\u00e4ist\u00e4 tekninen johtaminen, suora pedagoginen johtaminen ja henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n johtaminen ovat rehtorin ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 keskeisimpi\u00e4 k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n ty\u00f6n sis\u00e4lt\u00f6alueita, ja rehtoreiden n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 teko\u00e4lyst\u00e4 ty\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n tarkastellaan t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa keskittyen n\u00e4ihin kolmeen konkreettisimpaan sis\u00e4lt\u00f6alueeseen. \n\nYhteenvetona voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 aikaisempaa teko\u00e4lyyn liittyv\u00e4\u00e4 tutkimusta ei ole tiett\u00e4v\u00e4sti tehty laajan pedagogisen johtamisen viitekehyksess\u00e4.
