My\u00f6s eurooppalaisessa viitekehyksess\u00e4 sek\u00e4 lukion opetussuunnitelmassa 2020 korostetaan kulttuuritaitojen t\u00e4rkeytt\u00e4 erityisesti kielten oppiaineissa. \nN\u00e4m\u00e4 pedagogiset asiakirjat keskittyv\u00e4t erityisesti monikielisyyden ja monikulttuurisuuden vaalimiseen painottamalla opiskelijan kyky\u00e4 havainnoida ja pohtia erilaisia kulttuuriperint\u00f6j\u00e4. My\u00f6s t\u00e4ss\u00e4 opinn\u00e4ytteess\u00e4 ja materiaaleissa \nn\u00e4it\u00e4 osa-alueita painotettiin, mutta lis\u00e4ksi otettiin huomioon antirasistinen ja sosiaalisesti oikeudenmukainen n\u00e4k\u00f6kulma. \nMateriaaleissa hy\u00f6dynnettiin teht\u00e4v\u00e4pohjaisen kieltenopettamisen perusteita (Task-Based Language Teaching) sek\u00e4 \nautenttisia opetusmateriaaleja. N\u00e4m\u00e4 opetusmenetelm\u00e4t valittiin tukemaan opiskelijoiden osallisuutta, motivaatiota \nsek\u00e4 simuloimaan oikean el\u00e4m\u00e4n kielenk\u00e4ytt\u00f6tilanteita. Teoriaosuudessa keskeisiksi teemoiksi nousivat kulttuurin \nk\u00e4sitteen m\u00e4\u00e4ritteleminen, antirasistisen opetuksen merkitys, sek\u00e4 opettajan roolin t\u00e4rkeyden pohtiminen. Lis\u00e4ksi \nesiteltiin kielellisi\u00e4 ja kulttuuriin liittyvi\u00e4 tavoitteita, jotka eurooppalainen viitekehys sek\u00e4 lukion opetussuunnitelma \n2020 m\u00e4\u00e4rittelev\u00e4t. My\u00f6s pedagogisten l\u00e4hestymistapojen eli teht\u00e4v\u00e4pohjaisen kieltenopettamisen sek\u00e4 autenttisten \nopetusmateriaalien valintaa ja merkityst\u00e4 suhteessa kulttuurinopettamiseen perusteltiin.\nMateriaalipaketti koostuu viidest\u00e4 lukion kaksoistunnista, ja se on suunniteltu toteutettavaksi osana lukion kolmatta \nkurssia \u201cENA3 Englannin kieli ja kulttuuri luovan ilmaisun v\u00e4lineen\u00e4\u201d. Materiaalipaketin oppitunnit on jaettu teht\u00e4v\u00e4pohjaisen kieltenopettamisen tavan mukaan kolmeen vaiheeseen: valmisteluvaihe, itse teht\u00e4v\u00e4 ja teht\u00e4v\u00e4n yhteenveto. Teht\u00e4viss\u00e4 autenttisuus n\u00e4kyy tosiel\u00e4m\u00e4n tilanteita simuloivina teht\u00e4vin\u00e4 sek\u00e4 autenttisena kielisy\u00f6tteen\u00e4 esimerkiksi videoiden muodossa. Oppitunnit keskittyv\u00e4t k\u00e4sittelem\u00e4\u00e4n teoriaosuudessa mainittuja teemoja, kuten kulttuurin k\u00e4sitett\u00e4, antirasismin merkityst\u00e4 suhteessa kulttuuriin, englannin kielen kirjoa, kolonialismia sek\u00e4 erilaisia\nkulttuurillisia juhlia. N\u00e4it\u00e4 teemoja tarkastellaan mm. itsen\u00e4isen ty\u00f6skentelyn, ryhm\u00e4t\u00f6iden sek\u00e4 erilaisten projektien \navulla.
