Tavoitteena oli my\u00f6s kuvata, millaisia tai millaista ilmi\u00f6it\u00e4, rakenteita tai toimijuutta tuulivoimaj\u00e4rjestelmiin liittyy. \n\nTy\u00f6n teoreettinen viitekehys k\u00e4sitteli systeemiteoriaa, kriittisi\u00e4 perusrakenteita sek\u00e4 niiden kompleksisuutta, resilienssi\u00e4 ja muutosta koskevaa tutkimusta. Teoreettisessa viitekehyksess\u00e4 my\u00f6s kuvattiin energiaj\u00e4rjestelmi\u00e4 osana kompleksisia, adaptiivisia systeemeit\u00e4 sek\u00e4 kriittisi\u00e4 rakenteita. Tutkimustavoitteita l\u00e4hestyttiin konstruktiivisesti eli pyrkien ratkaisemaan oikean maailman ongelmia tuottaen viitekehyksen\u00e4 olevalle tieteelle kontribuutiota. Lopputuloksena esitettiin ratkaisumalleja tuulivoimaj\u00e4rjestelmi\u00e4 koskien. Tutkimusmenetelmin\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin asiantuntijahaastatteluita, systemaattista kirjallisuuskatsausta sek\u00e4 skenaarioanalyysia. \n\nTutkimustulosten perusteella tuulivoiman mahdolliset h\u00e4iri\u00f6tilanteet liittyv\u00e4t muun muassa j\u00e4nnite-ep\u00e4tasapainoon, matalaan varautumismaturiteettiin, tietoliikenne- ja tietoj\u00e4rjestelmien haavoittuvuuksiin, muuntajiin liittyviin h\u00e4iri\u00f6ihin, ennustemallien ep\u00e4varmuuksiin, kyberhy\u00f6kk\u00e4yksiin, inertian v\u00e4henemiseen s\u00e4hk\u00f6j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4ss\u00e4, \u00e4lykk\u00e4iden s\u00e4hk\u00f6verkkojen lis\u00e4\u00e4miin kyberhaavoittuvuuksiin ja esimerkiksi kriittisiin materiaaleihin liittyviin toimitusketjun haasteisiin. Tutkimuksessa tunnistettiin aineiston pohjalta kolme ratkaisumallia: kyberresilienssi ja sen kehitt\u00e4minen, s\u00e4hk\u00f6teknisesti laadukkaat hallinta-, valvonta- ja ennustuskeinot, sek\u00e4 organisatorinen kyvykkyys. Skenaarioanalyysin perusteella vakavia h\u00e4iri\u00f6tilanteita voi muodostua esimerkiksi kybervaikuttamisen, s\u00e4hk\u00f6j\u00e4rjestelmien h\u00e4iri\u00f6iden sek\u00e4 ns. pirstaloituneiden uhkatilanteiden kautta. The goal was to understand, what should one consider due to increasing wind energy production and changes in electricity infrastructures. The goal was also to explain, what kind of phenomena, actors or constructs wind power systems hold inside them. \n\nTheoretical part assessed system theory, critical infrastructure and its complexity, resilience, and change. The theoretical part also described energy systems being a part of both complex adaptive systems and critical infrastructure. The research problem was approached with constructive method, trying to solve real life problems while also producing value to scientific community. As a result, solution models were presented. Research methods included expert interviews, a systematic literature review and scenario analyses. \n\nBased on the results, the possible disturbance in terms of wind power systems can result from errors in voltage balance or converters, uncertainties in regard to prediction models, cyberattacks, minimal inertia in electric system, cyber vulnerabilities in smart grids, and, for example supply chain issues in critical materials. Three solution models were identified: cyber resilience, high quality electric system management, and organizational capabilities. According to the scenario analysis, serious disturbances may occur due to, for example, cyber activities, errors in electricity systems or due to so-called spallated dangers.
