Tämä tutkimus käsittelee DESDEO-ohjelmistokehyksen interaktiivisille evoluutiopohjaisille monitavoiteoptimointimenetelmille räätälöityjen käyttöliittymäkomponenttien puutetta. Kehittämällä käyttöliittymä DESDEO:n interaktiiviselle referenssivektoriohjatulle evoluutioalgoritmimenetelmälle pystytään täydentämään tämä puute ja ratkaisemaan kehitysprosessin aikana kohdattuja haasteita. Haasteiden ja toteutettujen ratkaisujen yksityiskohtainen kuvaus luo perustan tuleville käyttöliittymälaajennuksille, jotka voivat tukea laajempaa valikoimaa interaktiivisia evoluutiopohjaisia monitavoiteoptimointimenetelmiä DESDEO:ssa. Tavoitteena on luoda käyttöliittymä, jota todelliset päätöksentekijät pystyvät käyttämään tehokkaasti riippumatta heidän teknisestä osaamisestaan eri käyttöliittymien kanssa, parantaen näin DESDEO:n saavutettavuutta ja soveltuvuutta. Multiobjective optimization focuses on simultaneously optimizing multiple conflicting objectives, presenting a complex challenge where decision makers must balance with inherent trade-offs. Interactivity plays a crucial role in effectively addressing these complexities, enabling decision makers to dynamically influence the optimization process. This study focuses on developing a user interface specifically for the interactive extension of the Reference Vector-guided Evolutionary Algorithm method within the DESDEO software framework. By developing the UI, this study addresses the existing gap in tailored user interface components for interactive evolutionary multiobjective optimization methods within DESDEO and details the challenges encountered during the development process. By detailing these challenges and the implemented solutions, this study lays the groundwork for future expansions that will accommodate for a wider array of interactive evolutionary multiobjective optimization methods in DESDEO. The ultimate goal is to create a user interface that can be effectively used by real decision makers, regardless of their technical expertise with using different UIs, thus enhancing the accessibility and applicability of DESDEO.
