The transmission was determined by comparing the ratios of the intensities of the \u03b3-peaks observed after the fusion reaction with the JUROGAM3 detector equipment under different inter-detector correlation conditions. The results were compared with simulated transmissions. The maximum transmission for the nucleus 176Pt was 50 \u00b1 5 % for the focal plane silicon detector and about 87 \u00b1 8 % for the focal plane transmission detector. The transmissions depended on the reaction kinematics of the nuclei and the collected charge states. The simulations, on the other hand, yielded about 45 \u2212 50 % and about 60 \u2212 65 %. About 30 % for the silicon detector and about 50 % for the transmission detector were obtained for the nucleus 172Os. The biggest error factor in the fits was the background spikes in the JUROGAM3 raw data, which prevented good fits.
