The goals of this research were to clarify situations where negative perceptions toward PE classes were emerging and to find resolutions for increasing the level of enjoyment of PE classes. \nThe research was qualitative. The research materials were gathered via an online questionnaire targeted towards 9th-grade students of a secondary school located in Uusimaa in February 2024. The final research material consisted of 11 questionnaire responses. The analysis method used was material-based content analysis, where the main operating model was thematization.\nThe results of the study indicated that there are multiple factors related to the poor enjoyment of PE classes among students. The factors can be divided into factors related to the student and the group, the subject and the environment, and the teacher. Uncomfortable experiences emerged in situations where poor group spirit or bullying were present. The level of enjoyment in PE classes could be increased by boosting encouragement and making the environment more friendly. Tutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin s\u00e4hk\u00f6isell\u00e4 Google Forms kyselyll\u00e4 Uudellamaalla sijaitsevan yl\u00e4koulun yhdeks\u00e4nnen luokan oppilailta helmikuussa 2024. Lopullinen aineisto koostui 11 oppilaan vastauksista. Analyysimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin aineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6ist\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysi\u00e4, jossa p\u00e4\u00e4toimintamalli oli teemoittelu. \nTutkimuksen tulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 liikuntatunneilla heikkoon viihtymiseen vaikuttavat monet eri tekij\u00e4t. Tekij\u00e4t voidaan jakaa oppilaaseen ja ryhm\u00e4\u00e4n, aineeseen ja ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00f6n sek\u00e4 opettajaan liittyviin tekij\u00f6ihin.
