Tutkimuksessa oltiin kiinnostuneita opettajien ja valmentajien k\u00e4ytt\u00e4mist\u00e4 positiivisen pedagogiikan menetelmist\u00e4 sek\u00e4 niiden vaikutuksista opetustilanteisiin. Lis\u00e4ksi tarkastelun kohteena oli opettajien ja valmentajien ajatukset positiivisen pedagogiikan hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4misest\u00e4 koululiikunnassa nuorten yhteiskunnallisten haasteiden n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Huoli nuorista ja heid\u00e4n hyvinvoinnistaan, sek\u00e4 tutkijoiden oma kokemus positiivisten toimintamallien hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4misest\u00e4 koululiikunnasta toimi l\u00e4ht\u00f6laukauksena t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman toteuttamiselle.\n\nTutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena fenomenologis-hermeneuttista tutkimusotetta hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4en. Tutkimuksen aineisto koostui kolmesta opettajan haastattelusta, kolmesta tanssinopettajan haastattelusta sek\u00e4 yhdest\u00e4 tanssinopettajan kirjoitelmasta. Haastattelut toteutettiin Microsoft Teams -viestint\u00e4alustalla ja kirjoitelma saatiin Webropol-kyselyn avulla. Saatua aineistoa analysoitiin aineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6isell\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysill\u00e4, jossa teemoittelun avulla muodostui tutkimuksen tulokset.\n\nTutkimuksen tuloksiksi saatiin kuusi opettajien ja valmentajien eniten k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4 positiivisen pedagogiikan menetelm\u00e4\u00e4 ja ne olivat 1. oppilaan kohtaaminen, 2. hyv\u00e4n huomaaminen, 3. vahvuustaidot ja luonteenvahvuudet, 4. yhdess\u00e4 tekeminen ja ryhm\u00e4ytt\u00e4minen, 5. l\u00e4sn\u00e4olo- ja keskittymistaidot sek\u00e4 6. kasvun asenne, resilienssi ja ratkaisukeskeisyys. Positiivisen pedagogiikan k\u00e4yt\u00f6n vaikutuksista turvallinen ilmapiiri nostettiin t\u00e4rkeimp\u00e4n\u00e4, sill\u00e4 se on kaiken toiminnan pohjana ja siten vaikuttaa muun muassa oppilaiden uskallukseen, osallistumiseen, viihtymiseen ja oppimiseen tunneilla. Lis\u00e4ksi n\u00e4htiin, ett\u00e4 positiivinen pedagogiikka vastaa my\u00f6nteisesti moneen nykynuoren kokemaan yhteiskunnalliseen haasteeseen. T\u00e4ten johtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksen\u00e4 voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 positiivista pedagogiikkaa hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 ja erityisesti turvalliseen ilmapiiriin panostamalla voidaan mahdollisesti lis\u00e4t\u00e4 nuorten hyvinvointia.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The goal of this Master's thesis was to study the insights and experiences of teachers and trainers who have used positive pedagogy in practice. Special interests in this study were the methods of positive pedagogy used by teachers and trainers and their impacts in teaching situations. Another focus was to gather information about teachers' and trainers' thoughts on utilizing positive pedagogy in physical education in context of the societal challenges of adolescents. Concerns about adolescents and their wellbeing and personal experience with using positive education model in physical education worked as starting point for this thesis.\n\nThis thesis is a qualitative research in which phenomenological hermeneutic approach was used. The material was collected by interviewing three teachers and three dance teachers. In addition one dance teacher also gave written answers. The interviews were done using Microsoft Teams and in one case a Webropol-survey. The collected data was analyzed using data driven qualitative content analysis, in which theming was used.\n\nIn this study six most used methods of positive pedagogy utilized by teachers and trainers were recognized. These were 1. face the students as individuals, 2. notice and highlight the good, 3. strengths and character strengths, 4. doing things together and supporting the group building process, 5. teach presence and concentrations skills and 6. attitude in growth mindset, resilience and solution orientation. Creating a safe space was seen as the most important use of positive pedagogy, because it works as the foundation of all functions and thus impacts students daring, participation, enjoyment and learning during classes. Positive pedagogy was also thought to be a positive contributor to societal challenge experienced by modern youth.
