Oppimisen teknologioiden ja verkko-oppimisen on ennustettu tuovan paljon hy\u00f6tyj\u00e4 erilaisten opiskelijoiden oppimiseen, mutta teknologian tarjoamat mahdollisuudet eiv\u00e4t kuitenkaan todellisuudessa ole aina kaikkien saatavilla. Verkko-oppimisen vaikutuksia erityisesti oppimisen esteit\u00e4 kohtaavien korkeakouluopiskelijoiden oppimiseen on tutkittu toistaiseksi v\u00e4h\u00e4n ja t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen avulla pyrittiinkin selvitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n, kuinka eri l\u00e4hteiss\u00e4 ennustetut verkko-oppimisen hy\u00f6dyt ja toisaalta l\u00e4hdemateriaalissa havaitut haitat toteutuvat k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ss\u00e4. Tavoitteena oli lis\u00e4t\u00e4 tietoa verkko-oppimisen vaikutuksista esteit\u00e4 kohtaavien opiskelijoiden oppimiseen ja edelleen digitaalisen tasa-arvon toteutumiseen. Tutkimus suoritettiin ker\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 ja ryhmittelem\u00e4ll\u00e4 l\u00e4hdemateriaalissa havaittuja verkko-oppimisen hy\u00f6tyj\u00e4 ja haittoja, ja vertaamalla niit\u00e4 suomalaisissa korkeakouluissa opiskelevien oppimisen esteit\u00e4 kohtaavien opiskelijoiden kokemuksiin. Tutkimukseen osallistuneet opiskelijat vastasivat kyselylomakkeeseen, jonka lis\u00e4ksi osaa heist\u00e4 haastateltiin. Tutkimuksen tuloksista selvisi, ett\u00e4 erityisesti verkko-oppimisen hy\u00f6tyihin yhdistetty joustavuus tuki opiskelijoiden oppimista ja vaikutti positiivisesti saavutettavuuteen, osallisuuteen sek\u00e4 edelleen digitaalisen tasa-arvon toteutumiseen. Opiskelun koettiin verkko-oppimisen ansiosta my\u00f6s osittain nopeutuneen ja tehostuneen, jonka lis\u00e4ksi yhteisty\u00f6 muiden opiskelijoiden kanssa koettiin oppimisen teknologioiden ansiosta helpommaksi. Sen sijaan opiskelijoiden ja opettajien v\u00e4linen vuorovaikutus oli opiskelijoiden mielest\u00e4 et\u00e4opetuksessa vaikeampaa. Tulosten perusteella verkko-oppimiseen liittyv\u00e4t haitat, kuten h\u00e4iri\u00f6tekij\u00f6iden m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyminen vaikuttivat negatiivisesti erityisesti nuorempien opiskelijoiden oppimiseen sek\u00e4 niiden opiskelijoiden oppimiseen, joilla oli diagnosoitu tarkkaavaisuush\u00e4iri\u00f6. Digitaalisen tasa-arvon n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta tuloksissa huolestuttavaa oli, ett\u00e4 verkko-oppimisen hy\u00f6tyn\u00e4 ennustettu yksil\u00f6llist\u00e4minen ei opiskelijoiden mielest\u00e4 toteudu k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ss\u00e4 ja tukea on huonosti saatavilla. Digitalisaatioon tukeutuva ja teknologiaa hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4v\u00e4 verkko-oppiminen mahdollistaa kyll\u00e4 opiskeluun osallistumisen oppimisen esteist\u00e4 huolimatta, mutta mm. yksil\u00f6llist\u00e4miseen liittyvien puutteiden takia tasa-arvo toteutuu vain osittain.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "E-learning based on the digitization of education has quickly become a central part of the education system. Learning technologies and e-learning have been predicted to benefit vast variety of students, but the possibilities offered by technology are not always available to everyone. The effects of e-learning on students facing learning disabilities have not been largely studied. With the help of this study, we tried to find out how the predicted benefits and observed disadvantages of e-learning are realized in practice. The goal was to increase information about the effects of e-learning on the learning of students with learning disabilities. Furthermore, this study focused on e-learnings effects on digital equality. The research was carried out by collecting and grouping the advantages and disadvantages of e-learning presented in the source material and comparing them to students\u2019 experiences. The students answered a questionnaire and some of them were also interviewed. The results of the study revealed that especially the flexibility related to e-learning supported students\u2019 learning and had a positive effect on digital equality. Students also felt that learning was faster and more efficient and cooperation with other students was easier thanks to benefits provided by e-learning. On the other hand, the interaction between students and teachers was more difficult in students\u2019 opinion. Based on the results, the disadvantages related to e-learning, such as the increase in the number of distractions, had a stronger negative effect on the learning of younger students and those diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). From digital equality\u2019s point of view, it is worrying that the individualization predicted as a benefit of online learning, does not seem to materialize in practice. In addition, the students also felt that necessary support is poorly available.
