Ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4aktivismi k\u00e4sitteen\u00e4 kattaa my\u00f6s itse organisaatioihin kohdistuvaa ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4l\u00e4ht\u00f6ist\u00e4 aktivismia, jossa ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t ottavat kantaa organisaationsa toimintaan. Aktivismin tarkoituksena on saada aikaan positiivista yhteiskunnallista muutosta vaikuttamalla itse organisaatioihin - erityisesti silloin kun organisaatiot toimivat ep\u00e4eettisesti tai eiv\u00e4t osallistu yhteiskunnallisten ongelmien parantamiseen. Tuolloin ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4v\u00e4t sosiaalista mediaa, walk out -protesteja sek\u00e4 lakkoja luodakseen tarpeeksi painetta, jotta organisaatiot muuttaisivat toimintaansa. Kyseinen ilmi\u00f6 on her\u00e4tt\u00e4nyt mediahuomion lis\u00e4ksi my\u00f6s kysymyksi\u00e4 siit\u00e4, miten ty\u00f6nantajien tulisi k\u00e4sitell\u00e4 aktivismia.\n\nT\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa tarkastellaan kriittisen diskurssianalyysin avulla ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4aktivismidiskurssia henkil\u00f6st\u00f6alan ammattilaisten kirjoittamissa artikkeleissa. Tutkielman aineisto koostuu vuosina 2020\u20132021 julkaistuista englanninkielisist\u00e4 artikkeleista. Kyseiset artikkelit on julkaistu henkil\u00f6st\u00f6alan sivustoilla, joiden tarkoituksena on esitell\u00e4 alan uusia ajankohtaisia aiheita valistaen ja viihdytt\u00e4en lukijoita. Aineistossa nousi esiin seitsem\u00e4n ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4aktivismidiskurssia, joissa aktivismi esitettiin muun muassa hy\u00f6dyllisen\u00e4 tai haitallisena sek\u00e4 organisaatioiden ja ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden v\u00e4lisi\u00e4 valtasuhteita muuttavana tekij\u00e4n\u00e4. N\u00e4m\u00e4 diskurssit rakentuivat metaforien, ironian sek\u00e4 legitimiteetin rakentamisen keinoin, jotka osaltaan heijastivat sivustojen tavoitetta viihdytt\u00e4\u00e4 ja valistaa. Lis\u00e4ksi osa diskursseista nojasi muun muassa voittamisen ja v\u00e4kivallan kielikuviin, joilla rakennettiin mahdollisuuksien ja vallan diskursseja. Uhkaavia metaforia ja ironisia kielikuvia k\u00e4ytettiin erityisesti silloin, kun lukijaa kannustettiin toimimaan tietyll\u00e4 tavalla.
