Tutkielma pyrkii \nensisijaisesti l\u00f6yt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n vastauksia siihen, miten chatbotteja k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n \nkorkeakouluopiskelussa ja miten korkeakoulut voivat hy\u00f6ty\u00e4 t\u00e4st\u00e4 tiedosta. \nTutkielma tarkastelee my\u00f6s chatbottien opiskeluk\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n liittyvi\u00e4 ongelmia sek\u00e4 \nhaasteita. \u00c4lykk\u00e4iden, generatiivisia toiminnallisuuksia sis\u00e4ll\u00e4\u00e4n pit\u00e4vien \nchatbottien suosio on havaittavissa erityisesti korkeakouluopiskelijoiden \nkeskuudessa. Chatbottien l\u00e4hes rajaton osaaminen yhdistettyn\u00e4 niiden kykyyn \nesitt\u00e4\u00e4 vastauksensa luonnollisella kielell\u00e4 tekee niist\u00e4 erinomaisia ty\u00f6kaluja \nkorkeakouluopiskeluun. Tutkimuksen tulosten mukaan chatbotteja k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n \nerityisesti tiedonhaussa, vaikeaselkoisen sis\u00e4ll\u00f6n selitt\u00e4misess\u00e4 sek\u00e4 \ntekstink\u00e4sittelyss\u00e4. Chatbottien olennaisimmat hy\u00f6dyt liittyv\u00e4t chatbottien \nnopeuteen, helppok\u00e4ytt\u00f6isyyteen sek\u00e4 siihen kuinka ne voivat tarjota uusia \nn\u00e4k\u00f6kulmia sek\u00e4 palautetta k\u00e4ytt\u00e4jilleen. Chatbottien opiskeluk\u00e4yt\u00f6n \nongelmiksi mainittiin muun muassa ongelmat k\u00e4ytt\u00e4jien motivaatiossa, tiedon \nvirheellisyys sek\u00e4 puutteet niiden k\u00e4ytt\u00f6taidoissa. The thesis also explores \nchallenges and issues related to the use of chatbots in educational contexts. The \npopularity of intelligent chatbots, incorporating generative functionalities, is \nnoticeable, especially among university students. The almost limitless \ncapabilities of chatbots combined with their ability to provide responses in \nnatural language make them excellent tools for higher education. According to \nthe research findings, chatbots are primarily used for information retrieval, \nexplaining complex content, and text processing. The key benefits of chatbots \nrevolve around their speed, user-friendliness, and their ability to offer new \nperspectives and feedback to users. Challenges in the educational use of chatbots \ninclude issues related to user motivation, inaccuracies in information, and \ndeficiencies in their usability skills.
