V\u00e4est\u00f6n ik\u00e4\u00e4ntyminen lis\u00e4\u00e4 \norganisaatioiden v\u00e4list\u00e4 kilpailua osaavista ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6ist\u00e4, jolloin \norganisaatioiden on t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 onnistua motivoimaan ja pit\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n kiinni \nnykyisist\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6ist\u00e4 sek\u00e4 onnistua houkuttelemaan organisaatioon uusia \nhyvi\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6it\u00e4. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on yleisesti lis\u00e4t\u00e4 \nymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 ty\u00f6urajohtamisen k\u00e4sitteest\u00e4, ty\u00f6urien johtamisesta ja ty\u00f6urien \njohtamiseen liittyvist\u00e4 haasteista suomalaisessa ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4kontekstissa, \nerityisesti tutkimus- ja asiantuntijaorganisaatiossa. Tutkimus toteutettiin\nlaadullisena tapaustutkimuksena, jonka kohdeorganisaationa toimii er\u00e4s\nvaltion tutkimuslaitos. Tutkimuksessa haastateltiin yhteens\u00e4 18 \ntutkimuslaitoksen ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4\u00e4, 7 johtajaa ja 11 esihenkil\u00f6\u00e4. Aineisto analysoitiin \naineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6isen sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysin avulla.\n Tutkimuksen tulokset heijastelevat aiemman tutkimuksen ja \nkirjallisuuden n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 organisatorisen ty\u00f6urajohtamisen ja kest\u00e4vien \nty\u00f6urien teemoista. Tutkimuksessa ty\u00f6urajohtaminen n\u00e4htiin pitk\u00e4j\u00e4nteisen\u00e4 \ntoimintana, jossa tavoitteena on organisaation tavoitteiden ja yksil\u00f6n toiveiden\nyhteensovittaminen sek\u00e4 yksil\u00f6iden uralla kehittymisen tukeminen. \nTutkimuksessa havaittiin, ett\u00e4 ty\u00f6uria johdetaan tutkimus- ja \nasiantuntijaorganisaatiossa monenlaisten k\u00e4yt\u00e4nteiden ja ty\u00f6kalujen avulla. \nEsihenkil\u00f6t ovat ty\u00f6urien johtamisessa keskeisess\u00e4 roolissa. Ty\u00f6urien \njohtamisessa kohdataan useita haasteita.
