Teoriatausta eli aiempi tutkimuskirjallisuus sis\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4 tarkempaa tietoa TAM-mallista: se koostuu nelj\u00e4st\u00e4 peruspilarista, jotka liittyv\u00e4t muun muassa k\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4n asenteeseen ja j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n k\u00e4ytt\u00f6kokemukseen. TAM-malli sai alkunsa vuonna 1985 ja sit\u00e4 on p\u00e4ivitetty useamman kerran, viimeksi 2000-luvun alussa. Teoriataustaksi valitut aiemmat tutkimukset k\u00e4sittelev\u00e4t esimerkiksi sosiaaliseen median opetusk\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n ja oppimisenhallintaj\u00e4rjestelmiin liittyvi\u00e4 asenteita TAM-mallin avulla: niiden perusteella voi sanoa, ett\u00e4 TAM-malli on toimiva ty\u00f6kalu teknologian hyv\u00e4ksymisen mittaamiseen. T\u00e4t\u00e4 gradua varten toteutettiin Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopiston Informaatioteknologian tiedekunnan opiskelijoille Moodlen ja TIM:n vastakkain asettava tutkimuskysely, jonka tuloksia (99 vastaajaa) analysoidaan sek\u00e4 laadullisesti ett\u00e4 m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisesti. N\u00e4ist\u00e4 tuloksista voi n\u00e4hd\u00e4, ett\u00e4 TIM ja Moodle saivat kummatkin tasapuolisesti kannatusta, osittain jopa ristiriitaisesti sek\u00e4 positiivista ett\u00e4 negatiivista palautetta samasta ominaisuudesta. This Master's thesis explores their acceptance and related attitudes in the context of the TIM and Moodle systems used at the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM model) and based on previous research literature. The theoretical background, or earlier research literature, contains more detailed information about the TAM model: it consists of four basic pillars related to, among other things, the user attitude and the user experience of the system. The TAM model was created in 1985 and has been updated several times, most recently in the early 2000s. Previous studies selected as the theoretical background deal with attitudes related to, for example, social media teaching use and learning management systems using the TAM model: on the basis of these, one can say that the TAM model is a functional tool for measuring the acceptance of technology. For this thesis, a survey for the students of the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 was created. This survey set Moodle against TIM and it's results (99 respondents) are analysed both qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on these results, it can be seen that TIM and Moodle both received equal support, in part even conflictingly both positive and negative feedback on the same feature. Based on the survey responses, this is due to the context of use, i.e. one system is more suitable than the other for certain courses: for example, TIM seems to be more suitable for more technical courses such as programming courses. The user's computer skills and age can also contribute to the popularity of the systems, which can be seen as a preference for TIM if the user is trained in computer technology and is younger in age.
