N\u00e4ihin haasteisiin yhten\u00e4 \nkeskeisen\u00e4 ratkaisuna toimivat johtajuus ja johtajuuskompetenssit. Johtajuudella ja johtajuuskompetensseilla on merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4 rooli, kun organisaatiot tavoittelevat teko\u00e4lyn onnistunutta k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6nottoa ja tehokasta k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa tarkasteltiin johtajuuskompetensseja teko\u00e4lyn kontekstissa. Tutkielmassa \npyrittiin selvitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n millaista tiet\u00e4myst\u00e4 ja taitoja johtajalta vaaditaan organisaatioiden hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4ess\u00e4 teko\u00e4ly\u00e4 toiminnassaan. Tutkielmassa pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n l\u00f6yt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n vastaus seuraavaan tutkimuskysymykseen: \u201dMillaiset johtajuuskompetenssit korostuvat teko\u00e4lyn aikakaudella?\u201d. Tutkielma toteutettiin kirjallisuuskatsauksena, jossa hy\u00f6dynnettiin eri tietokannoista l\u00f6ydetty\u00e4 tutkimuskirjallisuutta aiheeseen liittyen. Tutkimuskirjallisuutta valittaessa kiinnitettiin huomiota l\u00e4hteiden luotettavuuteen, viittausm\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4n suhteessa julkaisuajankohtaan sek\u00e4 yleiseen kirjoittajien tunnettavuuteen. Ensin tutkielmassa taustoitettiin teko\u00e4lyn ja johtajuuden k\u00e4sitteit\u00e4, jonka j\u00e4lkeen siirryttiin tarkastelemaan \nkeskeisi\u00e4 johtajuuskompetensseja organisaatioiden hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4ess\u00e4 teko\u00e4ly\u00e4. Tutkielman l\u00f6yd\u00f6ksin\u00e4 muodostettiin nelj\u00e4 johtajuuskompetenssiteemaa, jotka sis\u00e4lsiv\u00e4t kuhunkin teemaan liittyvi\u00e4 yksitt\u00e4isi\u00e4 kompetensseja. N\u00e4m\u00e4 kompetenssiteemat nimettiin teknisiksi-, muutos-, sosiaalisiksi- ja eettisiksi johtajuuskompetensseiksi. Tekniset kompetenssit korostivat johtajien tarvetta ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4\u00e4 \nteko\u00e4lyn ja sen taustalla vaikuttavan datan toimintaa. Muutoskompetenssit korostivat selke\u00e4n vision ja strategian luonnin t\u00e4rkeytt\u00e4 sek\u00e4 johtajien kyky\u00e4 olla \nketteri\u00e4 ja uskallusta ottaa riskej\u00e4. Sosiaaliset kompetenssit painottivat johtajien \nvuorovaikutus- ja ihmiskeskeisten taitojen tarvetta sek\u00e4 kyky\u00e4 luoda innovatiivisuutta ja jatkuvaa oppimista suosiva organisaatiokulttuuri, joka sallii ep\u00e4onnistumisen. Eettiset kompetenssit korostivat johtajien tarvetta olla tietoisia teko\u00e4lyn eettisist\u00e4 haasteita. However, the utilization of AI\ndoes not usually appear without issues in organizations and rather it includes \nmany challenges. Addressing these challenges, leadership and leadership competencies work as a solution. Leadership and leaders possess a significant role \nwhen organizations are aiming for a successful implementation and efficient \nusage of AI. In this bachelor\u2019s thesis, leadership competencies were explored in \nthe context of AI. The object of the thesis was to discover what type of \nknowledge and skills are expected from leaders when organizations are utilizing AI in their actions. The aim of the thesis was to find the answer for the following research question: \u201cWhich type of leadership competencies will be emphasized in the age of AI?\u201d The thesis was conducted as a literature review utilizing research literature related to the topic discovered from different databases. In the process of selecting research literature, the reliability of the sources, \ndate of publication and general familiarity of the writers were emphasized. In \nthe thesis, there was first a background was provided for concepts of AI and \nleadership, followed by a discussion about the essential leadership competencies when organizations are utilizing AI. As a result of the thesis, there were \nfour leadership competency themes formed each including induvial competencies. These competency themes were named as technical, change, social and \nethical leadership competencies. Technical competencies highlighted leaders\u2019\nneed to understand the functioning of AI and the data behind it. Change competencies highlighted the importance of creating vision and strategy and leaders\u2019 ability to be agile and willingness to take risks. Social competencies emphasized the need for leaders\u2019 social interaction skills and human-centered skills as \nwell as the ability to create organization culture that fosters innovativeness, \ncontinuous learning, and the acceptance of failure. Ethical competencies highlighted leaders\u2019 need to be aware of the ethical challenges of AI.
