The rapidly accumulating financial and technological pressures to keep up with the competition are forcing organizations to shape not only the services and products they offer, but also the ways in which these products and services are offered. New technologies offer opportunities that allow organizations to keep up with the business environment and gain an advantage over competitors. Organizations' need to adopt new technologies creates pressure for high-quality and success-oriented change management of technology. In this systematic literature review, the literature regarding the change management of information systems is studied, and different factors, contexts and perspectives that affect the successful change management of information systems, are brought to the fore. Factors influencing success found in\nthe literature review include project and change leadership skills, management's role and involvement during change, training of technology users and\nattitudes, feelings, trust and adaptation to the use of technology, organizational culture, internal communication and environmental factors, business process redesign, the technology implementation process, the organization's technology infrastructure, and the technology's characteristics and suitability for the organization. The purpose of this review is to examine the most important factors found in the literature in the success of organizations' changing technologies and systems.
