Elintarvikkeiden 3D tulostaminen on ollut kasvava trendi my\u00f6s Suomessa ja se on her\u00e4tt\u00e4nyt paljon huomiota kuluttajien keskuudessa aiheen uutuuden sek\u00e4 tuntemattomuuden takia. Kuluttajien tiet\u00e4myst\u00e4 ja asenteita on toistaiseksi tutkittu melko v\u00e4h\u00e4n, sill\u00e4 aikaisempi tutkimus on keskittynyt p\u00e4\u00e4asiassa tekniikan kehitt\u00e4miseen ja sen tuomiin mahdollisuuksiin. Niinp\u00e4 t\u00e4ss\u00e4 pro-gradu tutkielmassa koitetaan vastata t\u00e4h\u00e4n tutkimusaukkoon ja selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 kuluttajien asenteita 3D tulostettuja elintarvikkeita kohtaan. Tutkielma jakautuu kahteen osaan, kirjallisuuskatsaukseen sek\u00e4 empiiriseen osioon. Empiirinen osuus toteutettiin laadullisena sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysina, jossa hy\u00f6dynnettiin apuna tyypittely\u00e4. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin puolistrukturoitujen haastatteluiden avulla. Aineiston analyysin perusteella kuluttajat voidaan jakaa kolmeen tyyppiin heid\u00e4n asenteidensa ja innovaation ominaisuuksiin suhtautumisen perusteella. Tutkimuksessa l\u00f6ydetyt tyypit ovat ep\u00e4ilev\u00e4iset, kiinnostuneet sek\u00e4 eritt\u00e4in kiinnostuneet. Ep\u00e4ilev\u00e4iset suhtautuivat 3D tulostettuun ruokaan neutraalista tai negatiivisesti eik\u00e4 aikaisempaa kokemusta aiheesta juuri ollut. Kiinnostuneet taas suhtautuivat aiheeseen positiivisesti ja uskoivat 3D tulostetun ruuan mahdollisuuksiin tulevaisuudessa. Kokemusta aiheesta ei kuitenkaan juurikaan ollut. Eritt\u00e4in kiinnostuneet taas suhtautuivat 3D tulostettuun ruokaan suurella mielenkiinnolla. T\u00e4t\u00e4 tyyppi\u00e4 yhdisti jonkinlainen teknologinen koulutustausta ja oma kiinnostus aiheeseen. Tutkielma toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena, joten sen tuloksia ei voi sellaisenaan soveltaa suurempaan joukkoon. Tutkielma pyrkiikin antamaan n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmaa aiheeseen ja tuomaan lukijalleen yl\u00e4tason ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 elintarvikkeiden 3D tulostamisesta sek\u00e4 asenteista 3D tulostettua ruoka kohtaan.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "3D printing has developed a lot in the past years and its use has also spread to the food industry. 3D printed food has been a growing trend and it has raced a lot of attention from consumers because of the novelty and unfamiliarity of it. Consumers knowledge and attitudes have not been investigated much in the past because the research has focused on developing the technology. That is why this Master thesis tries to fill in this research gap and will find out consumers attitudes towards 3D printed food. The thesis consists of two parts, a literature review, and an empirical part. The empirical part was done as a qualitative content analysis and typing was used to help in that. The data was collected using semi-structured interviews. Based on the analysis, 3 types were found, and they were skeptical type, interested type and very interested type. Skeptical type\u2019s attitude towards 3D printed food was neutral or negative and they didn\u2019t have experience beforehand. Interested type\u2019s attitude was positive and they believed that 3D printed food could bring us many possibilities in the future, but they still didn\u2019t have much experience of 3D printed food. Very interested type\u2019s attitude was the most positive of all. This type was united by technology educational background and an interest in technology. This research was done as qualitative research so the results can\u2019t be generalized as such.
