Lis\u00e4ksi tutkimuksessa selvitettiin, miten opettajien digipedagogiset valinnat vaikuttavat oppilaiden TVT-taitojen kehittymiseen. Oppilaiden taitotasoa mitattiin suhteutettuna Kuopion TVT-opetussuunnitelman taitotasotavoitteisiin. T\u00e4m\u00e4n lis\u00e4ksi selvitettiin opettajien asenteita, taitotasoa ja digipedagogisia valintoja pilotin alussa ja lukuvuoden lopussa. Tutkielman teoriaosuus k\u00e4sittelee tulevaisuuden osaamista, digitaalista kompetenssia Euroopan komission DigComp- ja DigCompEdu-viitekehysten avulla, tieto- ja viestint\u00e4teknologian hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4mist\u00e4 peruskoulussa sek\u00e4 1:1-hankkeita.\n\nTutkimus on seurantatutkimus, johon ker\u00e4ttiin aineistoa yhteens\u00e4 nelj\u00e4ll\u00e4 kyselyll\u00e4: sek\u00e4 oppilaat ett\u00e4 oppilaat vastasivat ensimm\u00e4iseen kyselyyn pilotin alussa (syksy 2021) ja toiseen ensimm\u00e4isen pilottilukuvuoden lopussa (kev\u00e4t 2022). Tutkimukseen osallistui 7. vuosiluokan oppilaita yhteens\u00e4 9 eri luokkaryhm\u00e4st\u00e4. Ensimm\u00e4iseen oppilaskyselyyn vastasi 70 oppilasta ja toiseen 59 oppilasta. Ensimm\u00e4iseen opettajakyselyyn vastasi 23, toiseen 11 opettajaa.\n\nTutkimuksen tuloksena todettiin, ett\u00e4 oppilaiden TVT-taidot pysyiv\u00e4t kokonaisuutena tarkasteltaessa ennallaan. Opettajat havaitsivat kehittymist\u00e4 oppilaiden k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n taitojen ja oman tuottamisen sek\u00e4 tutkivan ja luovan ty\u00f6skentelyn osa-alueilla, mutta eiv\u00e4t osanneet arvioida muita osa-alueita. Oppilaiden omat arviot k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n taitojen osalta sen sijaan laskivat pilotin aikana. Todettiin, ett\u00e4 lasku voidaan tulkita siten, ett\u00e4 ensimm\u00e4isen pilottilukuvuoden lopussa oppilailla on parempi k\u00e4sitys TVT-taidoistaan, mink\u00e4 takia he arvioivat oman osaamisensa matalammaksi kuin pilotin alkaessa. Tutkimuksen tuloksena havaittiin my\u00f6s, ett\u00e4 oppilaiden 1:1-laitteita hy\u00f6dynnettiin v\u00e4hemm\u00e4n kuin olisi ollut TVT-taitojen kehittymisen ja pilotin onnistumisen kannalta tarkoituksenmukaista. Tulosten perusteella useilla opettajilla ei ollut selke\u00e4\u00e4 k\u00e4sityst\u00e4 siit\u00e4, miten oppilaiden laitteita olisi voinut opetuksessa hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4. Tuloksissa oli koulukohtaista vaihtelua, joka selittyi osittain oppilaiden asenteella. Tutkimuksen perusteella voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 1:1-hankkeen jalkauttamisen onnistuminen vaikuttaa suuresti siihen, miten hyvin opettajat pystyv\u00e4t integroimaan 1:1-laitteet osaksi opetustaan ja samalla mahdollistamaan oppilaille monipuolista TVT-taitojen oppimista.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The goal of this study was to find out how 1:1 computer ratio affects learning of information and communication technology (ICT) skills during the first year of a 1:1 pilot with pupils in 7th grade. In a 1:1 pilot, each pupil is given a personal mobile device, in this case a Chrome OS laptop. In addition, the study was aimed to explain how the development of pupils\u2019 skills is affected by the pedagogical choices teachers make when utilizing technology. The level of pupils\u2019 ICT skills was measured using ICT skills curriculum developed by City of Kuopio. Additionally, this study examines the attitudes, ICT skills and pedagogical choices of teachers working with the pilot classes. The theory part of the study deals with 21st century skills, digital competencies (using DigComp and DigCompEdu by European Commission), the use of ICT in comprehensive schools in Finland and research concerning 1:1 computing pilots.\n\nThis is a longitudinal study which was conducted using survey method. The data was collected by means of four distinct questionnaires: pupils in the 1:1 pilot and their teachers answered separate questionnaires at the beginning of the pilot (autumn 2021) and second ones at the end of the first piloting school year (spring 2022). The pupils were 7th-graders from 9 different groups in 5 schools. 70 pupils and 23 teachers participated in the first surveys, whereas 59 pupils and 11 teachers participated in the second ones.\n\nAs a result of the research, the ICT skills of the participating pupils remained the same, according to pupils\u2019 own estimations. Teachers noticed progress in the pupils\u2019 practical and production skills as well as in exploratory and creative working skills. However, teachers stated that they were not able to assess other sectors of ICT skills. In contrast, there was a drop in the pupils\u2019 own estimations concerning their practical skills. It can be concluded that the pupils have become more aware of their actual skills and, hence, estimate them lower than before the pilot. As a result of the study, it was found that the pupils\u2019 computers were not utilized as much as it would have been appropriate for the development of their ICT skills and, moreover, a successful pilot. Apparently, several teachers did not have a clear understanding on how the 1:1 computers could have been used for learning. The results varied and were school-specific. A part of the variation was explained by pupils\u2019 attitude towards the pilot in each group.
