Digitalisaatiolla on vaikutus opiskelijan \noppimisprosessiin, yhteiskunnassa kansalaisena tarvittaviin yleisiin taitoihin ja \nopiskeltavaan alaan liittyviin substanssitaitoihin. Opiskelijan n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta digitalisaatio \nn\u00e4kyy mm. digitaalisina oppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6in\u00e4, digitaalisena kommunikaationa, uusina,\nomaan alaan liittyvin\u00e4 ohjelmistoina ja v\u00e4linein\u00e4. Toisen asteen ammatillisen koulutuksen \nt\u00e4rke\u00e4n\u00e4 asiakkaana on ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4, jonka tarpeisiin koulutuksesta valmistuvan opiskelijan \nosaamisen ja koulutuksen mukana tulleiden tietojen ja taitojen pit\u00e4isi vastata.\nTy\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4n tarpeet ja vaatimukset eiv\u00e4t ole kuitenkaan t\u00e4ysin yksiselitteisi\u00e4 ja selvi\u00e4, kun \najatellaan tulevan ty\u00f6voiman digitaalisen osaamisen ja digitaalisessa ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4 toimisen \nkykyj\u00e4. Ty\u00f6nantajilla on alakohtaisia ja ty\u00f6nantajakohtaisia eroja digitalisaation edistymisen \nsuhteen, eiv\u00e4tk\u00e4 tarpeet v\u00e4ltt\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00e4 vastaa toisiaan. Eroa on my\u00f6s siin\u00e4, kuinka pitk\u00e4lle \nty\u00f6nantajat kykenev\u00e4t ennakoimaan ja m\u00e4\u00e4rittelem\u00e4\u00e4n tulevaisuuden tarpeita.\nOpinn\u00e4ytteen tavoite ja menetelm\u00e4: T\u00e4m\u00e4n opinn\u00e4ytteen tarkoitus oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4\nkirjallisuuskartoituksen ja tuloksista teht\u00e4v\u00e4n synteesin avulla, miten ty\u00f6nantajien \nn\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 toisen asteen ammatillisen koulutuksen digitalisaatiosta on tieteellisesti tutkittu,\nmit\u00e4 kartoituksista saaduissa tuloksissa todetaan ammatillisen koulutuksen nykytilasta \nverrattuna ty\u00f6nantajien tarpeisiin ja mitk\u00e4 asiat koetaan tuleviksi kehitt\u00e4misen tarpeiksi.\nOpinn\u00e4ytteen tulokset ja siit\u00e4 teht\u00e4v\u00e4t johtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6kset: Tuloksista k\u00e4y ilmi, ett\u00e4 t\u00e4st\u00e4 aiheesta \non tehty varsin v\u00e4h\u00e4n tutkimusta. Tutkimuksessa k\u00e4siteltyj\u00e4 artikkeleita oli varsinaisessa \nhakuvaiheessa 988 ja lumipallo-otannassa 663, ja sovellettaessa valintakriteerej\u00e4 niist\u00e4 \nvalikoitui tuloksiin 16 artikkelia. Tutkimus keskittyy p\u00e4\u00e4s\u00e4\u00e4nt\u00f6isesti Euroopan alueeseen ja \nteollisuuden aloihin, ja artikkelit jakautuvat tasaisesti tarkastellulle ajalle. Yleisin luokittelu \ntutkimuksille oli evaluointitutkimus, ja k\u00e4ytettyj\u00e4 tutkimusmenetelmi\u00e4 oli useita. \nMenetelmien yhteisen\u00e4 tekij\u00e4n\u00e4 on haastattelujen yleisyys. The digitalization has effects with the learning process of the \nstudent, skills needed as a citizen in the digitalized society and the substance skills of the \noccupation the student is learning. From the point of view of the student, the digitalization \ncan be seen for example as new learning environments, digital communication or as new \nsoftware programs or digital equipment related to the occupation. The most important client \nof the vocational education is the employers. The vocational education should be able to \naddress the skill needs of the employing organizations.\nThe needs of the employers are not completely unequivocal and clear when we are thinking\nabout the skills what the employees should have in the future, concerning the competencies\nneeded, when working in the digital environment. The employers have a different need, \nbased on the single employer, or employers of the different field of occupations and the need \nis not completely similar, because the rate of the advance of the digitalization can be different \nbetween companies. There are also differences in the anticipating of the future and \nforesighting of the future needs.\nObjective and the method of the thesis: The main purpose of this thesis is to find out by \nmeans of the systematic mapping study and review of the result articles how the perspectives \nof the employers about the digitalization of the vocational education and training are studied \nin the field of scientific research, and what conclusions these result articles are providing \nabout the current state of the vocational education and training compared with the \nemployers\u2019 needs and do these studies suggest any improvements to the vocational education \nand training.\nResults and the conclusions of the thesis: The results show that the research of the subject is \nlimited. The result of the search consists of 988 articles, and there were additional 663 \narticles in the snowball-phase of the research, and only 16 articles were included in the \nmapping after applying the inclusion criteria. The studies are mostly conducted in Europe \nand the mainly researched field of employers are the industry sector and the studies are \ndistributed evenly in the timeline of the research scope. Most of the studies are evaluation \nstudies, and they are conducted with different methods. The most used method as a part of \nthe study is the interview of the employers.
