Valmistussektori ei ole poikkeus, sillä se tuottaa runsaasti dataa laitteista, tuotantoprosesseista ja toimitusketjun toiminnoista, joita tekoäly voi hyödyntää optimoimaan tehokkuutta, parantamaan tuotteiden laatua ja edistämään innovatiivisia valmistusratkaisuja. Tässä kirjallisuuskatsauksessa tutkitaan erilaisia tekoälyn menetelmiä ja sovelluksia valmistusprosessissa erityisesti tuotannon suunnittelun, laadunvalvonnan ja ennakoivan huollon näkökulmasta. Tutkielman keskeisimmät havainnot osoittavat, että tekoälyn integrointi teollisiin valmistusprosesseihin voi merkittävästi tehostaa näitä alueita. Katsaus päättyy pohdintaan tekoälyn roolista, mahdollisuuksista, haasteista, sekä tarpeesta aiheen jatkotutkimukselle alati muuttuvassa valmistusteollisuudessa. This study aims to offer an overview of artificial intelligence's current state and pinpoint its prospective uses in the manufacturing industry. Artificial intelligence has emerged as a source of innovation during the past ten years in a variety of industrial fields, largely facilitated by the continual rise in computing power. Notably, the manufacturing sector has a significant impact on this development since it generates a lot of data through machinery, production methods, and supply chain activities. This data can be strategically utilized by artificial intelligence to enhance efficiency, augment product quality, and foster innovative manufacturing solutions. This literature review examines possible AI methodologies and their implementation in the manufacturing process, with an emphasis on aspects such as production planning, quality control, and predictive maintenance. The core findings of this research suggest that the incorporation of artificial intelligence into industrial manufacturing processes can significantly improve these areas' effectiveness. The review leads up to contemplation on the role of AI, its opportunities, the challenges it encounters, and underlines the necessity for ongoing research in the continuously evolving manufacturing industry.
