Vaikuttajamarkkinointi on viime vuosina noussut merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4ksi markkinointikanavaksi ja sosiaalinen media tarjoaa t\u00e4lle monia alustoja. Vaikuttajamarkkinoinnilla on omat hy\u00f6tyns\u00e4, mutta my\u00f6s haittapuolensa. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa selvitettiin n\u00e4it\u00e4 negatiivia vaikutuksia, jotta tulisimme sosiaalisen median k\u00e4ytt\u00e4jin\u00e4 tietoisiksi niist\u00e4 ja oppisimme n\u00e4in ehk\u00e4isem\u00e4\u00e4n tai ainakin lievent\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n niit\u00e4. Tutkimus tehtiin kirjallisuuskatsauksena. Aineistona k\u00e4ytettiin aikaisempia tutkimustuloksia aiheesta, vertaisarvioituja artikkeleita ja sosiaalisen median alustojen sivustoillaan antamia tietoja. Vaikuttajamarkkinoinnilla huomattiin olevan kirjallisuuden perusteella erilaisia negatiivisia vaikutuksia kuluttajiin, vaikuttajiin ja yrityksiin. Vaikuttajamarkkinointi saattaa vaikuttaa kuluttajien terveyteen haitallisesti. Ep\u00e4terveellisten v\u00e4lipalojen mainostamisen on huomattu aiheuttavan lapsilla ep\u00e4terveellisen sy\u00f6misen lis\u00e4\u00e4ntymist\u00e4, ja kuluttajien itsens\u00e4 vertaaminen vaikuttajiin voi aiheuttaa ahdistusta. Vaikuttajan eettisen s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6st\u00f6n rikkominen markkinointisis\u00e4ll\u00f6ss\u00e4 vaikuttaa negatiivisesti vaikuttajan luotettavuuteen seuraajien silmiss\u00e4. Luotettavuuden menetys aiheuttaa todenn\u00e4k\u00f6isesti taloudellisia menetyksi\u00e4, sill\u00e4 ihmisten vaikuttajiin kokema luottamus ja samaistuminen on yksi perimm\u00e4isist\u00e4 syist\u00e4, miksi yritykset haluavat hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 vaikuttajia markkinoinnissaan. Vaikuttajamarkkinoinnilla voi olla negatiivisia vaikutuksia my\u00f6s kuluttajien br\u00e4ndist\u00e4 muodostamaan kuvaan. Mik\u00e4li vaikuttajan tekem\u00e4 tuotteen esittely vaikuttaa maksetulta, vaikuttajan l\u00e4pin\u00e4kyvyys k\u00e4rsii. L\u00e4pin\u00e4kyvyyden puuttuessa esitelt\u00e4v\u00e4t tuotteet ja br\u00e4ndit saatetaan n\u00e4hd\u00e4 huonompilaatuisina.
