Palveluntarjoajat pyrkiv\u00e4t jatkuvasti vastaamaan kasvavaan markkinaan ja kysynt\u00e4\u00e4n kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 entist\u00e4 tehokkaampia ja skaalautuvampia ratkaisuja. Yhdeksi tehokkaimmista tavoista on muodostunut tuotevetoisuus, jossa tuote kehitet\u00e4\u00e4n hankkimaan, aktivoimaan ja yll\u00e4pit\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n asiakkaita itsen\u00e4isesti. T\u00e4llaisesta kasvustrategiasta k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n my\u00f6s nimityst\u00e4 tuotevetoinen kasvustrategia (Product-Led Growth, PLG). Kyseist\u00e4 kasvustrategiaa on hy\u00f6dynnetty yritysmaailmassa jo laajalti erityisesti SaaS-yrityksiss\u00e4, jotka hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4v\u00e4t itsepalveluun (Self-service) perustuvaa liiketoimintamallia. Aiheeseen liittyv\u00e4 tutkimus ei kuitenkaan tarjoa yleistett\u00e4vi\u00e4 ohjeistuksia onnistumisen kannalta oleellisista haasteista ja edellytystekij\u00f6ist\u00e4. Niinp\u00e4 lukuisat startup yritykset kaatuvatkin jo ensimm\u00e4isen kahden vuoden aikana. \nT\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa pyrittiin l\u00f6yt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n ratkaisuja edell\u00e4 mainittuun ongelmaan monitapaustutkimuksen avulla. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli l\u00f6yt\u00e4\u00e4 tarkempia havaintoja erityisesti tuotevetoista kasvustrategiaa noudattavia yrityksi\u00e4 varten, jotta tulevaisuudessa voitaisiin n\u00e4hd\u00e4 yh\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n onnistumistarinoita. T\u00e4t\u00e4 varten tutkimuksessa muodostettiin aluksi aiempien tutkimusten osoittama n\u00e4kemys, jota verrattiin haastattelututkimuksen kautta ker\u00e4ttyihin havaintoihin. Tutkimuksen teoreettisena viitekehyksen\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin liiketoimintamallien m\u00e4\u00e4rittelyyn tarkoitettua Lean Canvas mallia, jonka avulla my\u00f6s tuotevetoista kasvustrategiaa hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4v\u00e4t yritykset voivat muodostaa itselleen toimivan liiketoimintamallin. Tutkimuksen tuloksista k\u00e4vi ilmi, ett\u00e4 aiempi tutkimus on tuonut hyvin esiin erityisesti edellytystekij\u00f6it\u00e4, joskin tutkimukseen osallistuneiden haastateltavin n\u00e4kemykset olivat entist\u00e4 tarkempia ja konkreettisempia. Service providers are responding to this growing market and demand by developing more efficient and scalable solutions. One of the most effective ways of doing this is product virtualization, where a product is developed to acquire, activate, and retain customers independently. This growth strategy is also referred to as Product-Led Growth (PLG). This growth strategy has already been widely used in practice, especially by software companies using Self-service SaaS business models, but research on the subject does not provide generalizable guidance on the challenges and conditions for success. As a result, many start-ups fail within the first two years.\nThis study seeks to find solutions to the above problem through a multi-case study. The aim of the study is therefore to find more specific findings, especially for start-up PLGs, to see more success stories in the future. To this end, the study will start by building up a picture from previous studies, which will then be compared with the findings gathered through the interview research. The theoretical framework used in the study is the Lean Canvas model for defining business models, which can be used by companies using a product-led growth strategy to create a business model that works for them. The results of the study show that previous research has been good at highlighting the drivers, although the views of the interviewees are more specific and concrete.
